Thankful Thursday: It Is All About Family

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it!
We have the most wonderful family here and we are so thankful for that every single day. But it’s not always only about our family.  There are families everywhere and each and every one of them are so very important.

Today I would like to introduce you to a special little family.  Direct from Kitten-TV, I bring you Momma and the Kittens.

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it!
This is Little Momma and as you can see, she is not much bigger than a kitten herself.  She is starting to get used to Dad but only to the point where she doesn’t run when she sees him.  Sometimes she will walk up a bit closer when Dad is putting out their breakfast or dinner.  Dad hasn’t gotten very close to her so she won’t high tail it to the woods.  Momma has been bringing her little ones for meals.

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it!
These are the little ones, and as you can see they are almost as big as their Momma. They are very scared of two leggers and if they even sense they are being watched the flee to the woods.  We were amazed that our Mom was able to get a picture of them.

This is what has been keeping us busy, Kitten-TV.  Dad is trying his best to figure out how to capture and help them without separating them needlessly.  Momma and the kittens are eating good and seem to get along just fine with the other ferals.

We are thankful for our family every day and we would be most thankful if we can help out this sweet family too.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Paws crossed your humans can get these kitties fixed somehow! They are adorable, but it would not be good to have more of them running around!

Oh yay, pictures of the kittens. They certainly look happy. We are so glad they are getting nice food and have a roof if they choose. Some day you will be able to catch them. It just takes a lot of time. Happy Thursday to you.

It looks like the size of your outside family is increasing. Mama Cat and kittens are sure fortunate they happened on your house because your family will take good care of them. You do have the best TV!

Poor little Momma – so young to be expected to care for a family, and yet she is trying to do just that. We hope that with time and patience your humans will be able to get her and her babies to the vet and that eventually they will each find a home. Thanks for caring for them.

Hopefully Dad can catch them and either find them homes or get them fixed up for no more unwanted litters. those babies are big!!
We shall never forget what happened 13 years ago & pray for a continued safe & free country!

Looks like Little Momma gets along TOO well with the other ferals. MOL! That’s what we used to call Gertrude until we gave her a proper name. From what we know about TNR, you don’t have to get close to catch them as long as they’ve never seen a trap before. Maybe you could put the trap and some food on your porch they will enter. After Gertrude and Syssiknife had their litters and weaned them, both were trapped and sentenced to spay. TW would love to catch to of the cats she’s feeding now that aren’t much bigger than your Little Momma and get them spayed but is gonna have to get a trap and some cooperation from the guy who’s house they live by.

Mommy remembers too. She was off that day and knew she would be called to duty. She said she will never forget one second of that day. Not ever as long as she lives.

Mama and babies went straight to her heart.

Your extended family is cute. Hopefully they’ll continue to get more comfortable and your humans can help them to not make your family any larger.
