Post Surgery Update: Sister Zoe is in Recovery at the Moment

Thanks to Ann at Zoolatry for the beautiful graphic

Here is a quickie update on Sister Zoe.  The surgeon just called and said that Sister Zoe came through the surgery like a champ, now to see how she does in the recovery room.

What did they find in her tummy?  Remember when she was pulling out all of her fur? They found a furball that was the size somewhere between a racquetball and a baseball. No wonder she didn’t want to eat.  Her glucose is up, but that could be stress related so they are monitoring her for that closely.  No cancer or anything else (there wasn’t room).

Thanks so much for all the purrs and prayers, please keep them coming. We love you all.

thank goodness it was only fur. I hope she has a speedy recovery. sending prayers your way. It has been stressful here. P. has been diagnosed with heart failure-I was in shock-she is doing well on the meds and we also consulted with a holistic vet who put her on supplements-so hopefully her kidneys will hold out. If the asthma was not enough now she gets three pills a day -thankfully three of her supplements she thinks they are treats.
