Hey everyone, I think I found it. What you say? I found something that I dislike almost as much as that diet thing. Seriously, I am really not fond of that thingy called the scale.
Brother Brian had the bright idea (NOT) to order me a scale so I can keep track of how I am doing with that diet thing. I still haven’t figured out how I’m going to get back at him for that, but I will figure out something.
Anyways, since that scale arrived I have gained some weight, not lost it. Actually, I think there must be something wrong with it and maybe we should sent it back. That goofy Brian said it is a good way for me to get some exercise. What? Oh yes, my Dad has to chase me around the house for a few minutes every morning to catch me so I can get weighted. Purrhaps if Dad would just put some treats on it I would get on it all on my own. Um, maybe not, I’d likely just treat n’ run!
Oh well, I keep trying, it’s not my fault the food her is yummy. Have a great Saturday everyone! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
My human is always putting me on the scale too, Gracie! Fortunately, the numbers are good so far – whew!
Well a bit if chasing might do the trick and then no more of the dread D thing. Paws crossed. Have a super Saturday.
Best wishes Molly
Yeah, that scale thing is an issue here, too. Over the years dad swears we’ve had some pretty broken, dishonest ones. As for me, I have trouble keeping the weight on. Have a great weekend!!
Hannah says her fur is very heavy if her weight goes up Gracie so why don’t you do the same?
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
You should chat with my cat bro Bert. He has been battling the bulge for a couple years now. It has taken that long, but he is almost at the perfect weight and he is not happy about it. Mom cut his food back which has turned him into a thief, but with time, it has worked out.
Oh no Gracie, it just has to be the darn scale. It is the scales fault, not yours. We hope they get that scale straightened out so it doesn’t tell lies any more.
You all have a Happy Saturday.
A lot of us have been on a diet at one time or another, Gracie, so we totally understand how you feel about that scale thing. However, we think that is a great idea to get you some exercise! 🙂
Can’t blame you for trying to avoid the scale BUT at least you get a bit of exercise having your Dad chase you around before you succumb to the WEIGH-IN!!! HAHAHA
Hugs, Sammy
We think Brian is probably putting his paw on the scale behind your back while you are on it to make you weigh more so that possibly he can get extra treats…the ones meant for you. We like your idea of treat and run…that would still be exercise. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Hey, the chasing is great exercise for you and will help in your weight loss, Sister Gracie!
Oh Gracie… what are we going to do with that brother of yours? I know he meant well but really…
Energy expending activities are good! Maybe your Dad can turn some of them into play. We don’t even try to weigh our kitties…it’s enough of a problem to catch them for claw trimming! 🙂
Yeah, it has to be the scale that is doing it, probably isn’t set right. No wonder you don’t want to get on it.
I have to get weighed too. Every Saturday dad stands on the bathroom scales with me and then he gets on by himself. They have to check to make sure I am not still losing weight and hopefully might put a bit back on. I am glad I don’t get the evil D word here.
We got one of those pesky things too. Interesting how the human avoids it like the plague…
I hate scales, worst invention ever. I got rid of mine. I do have a baby scale for the kitties though to make sure no one gets too thin.
Oh, sweet Gracie, I’m sure the scale is wrong. Dieting and losing weight are so hard. I’ve tried to get Annie to lose weight for well over a year but then Pierrot moving in has made it really difficult. If it’s any consolation, you sure look as adorable as ever in this picture.
Oh Honey, you look fabulous! No ol’ diet thing for YOO! Tell Brian to get on FOR you. xxoox
You need to chase that Brian Gracie.
It may even have benefits besides being fun 😉
Purrs Georgia and Julie,

Sweet Gracie, it must be the scales. Maybe you’re just pleasingly plump. Anyway, let Dad keep chasing you.
Gracie
I don’t know many girls who like scales…because they are always in need of adjustments.
Hugs madi your bfff
You get weighed every morning? Well, I guess if you need to be chased, that is good exercise. I have a scale and I don’t mind it, but I get weighed only every few weeks.
Well. We mancats here LIKE our wimmens full-figured!
Yep, we bet that scale is defective! It’s probably best you don’t use it anymore. (We’re trying to help you out, Gracie.)
Yow sweet Sister gracie it soundz like Brother Brian waz doin hiz best fer ya…butt sum ideaz are just nott so guud rite??

I’ll bet that sneaky brother of yours is putting his paw on the scale with you!! I’m an expert on revenge if you need tips.
You can do it, Gracie! We are rooting for you! We know diets aren’t any fun, but in the end you will be glad you did it 🙂
That scale must not be up to snuff, sweet Gracie! Continued purrs and prayers to Brian and Zoe, we hope that both of them are feeling better.
We have to weigh one of cats monthly as he lost a pound last year. We get on the scale with him and then it reminds us to watch our weight…LOL
I love it, a new excercise routine and some scales! BOL
