Thankful Thursday: Feeding Time Isn’t for Sissies

Adopt Tigger ADOPT TIGGER

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it!

You know, when one of your sisters is sick it can be so hard to find something to be thankful for, yet I did pull it off today.  I wasn’t real sure I could find a thankful at the moment, but it just proves we can always be thankful for something.

I am very thankful that my Dad and Mom are stubborn, and even though sister Zoe is not interested in eating, they feed her with a syringe several times each day.  They don’t give up easily, and I am thankful that is the case.  They also weigh her each and every day.  I am thankful I have not had to get on the scales.

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

I’m continuing to send more purrs to Zoe – paws up to your humans for helping her. My human knows how difficult it is to be diligent with the syringe feeding.

Well I wonder how much you sister likes those syringe feedings. I know most cats don’t! I hope she will decide to start eating on her own very soon.

Praying with all of our might that Sister Zoe will start eating!!! If I am around sporadically I am sorry! Husband totaled his car yesterday morning (he is ok thank God), but I am going to be out of the loop for a bit due to a zillion things we have to do and I have to drive him around for a few days. Sending all of our love to you and yours and that Sister Zoe will eat! xoxoxo

I remember when I was so sick and Jan fed me even though I didn’t want to eat. I got well. Now you get well, Zoe!

Poor Zoe. We wish she would eat on her own, but we know that your humans are going to do whatever they can to help her. They are super good pawrents! We will continue to purr and pray for her. Our mom says that if we look hard enough we can always find a little glimmer of silver lining somewhere. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

Hi guys! We’re still purring for Miz Zoe! Sometimes you just gotta BE stubborn on a kitty’s behalf! We know your pawrents are watching her & taking care of her like a couple of hawks!

We are purring hard for Sister Zoe. The Woman knows how hard it can be to syringe feed. I had to have that. I hope Zoe starts feeling good enough to eat soon.

Mom says she can sympathize with your Mom and Dad and Zoe not wanting to eat. We have the same problem here off and on with Phantom. It is always such a worry when we won’t eat. We have all our paws crossed that Zoe will begin to eat more soon.

Hi Brian, so sorry Zoe is not eating.
When I was in the ICU hospital, my blood numbers were all messed up and I wouldn’t eat. The canine specialist said as long as we eat “something” – that is a good thing, ie: even milk or sweet biscuits; as long as its something.
Your doing a wonderful job nursing Zoe and doing all that is possible to help her get well. (((HUGS)))
