It sure has been a rough couple of weeks here but I’m hopeful that the all better is approaching. Actually the much better is here now and purrhaps the all better is close at paw.
I am, as you can see, laying on my tummy. That’s because I’ve had most of my tummy furs shaved off so the specialist Vet could do that ultrasound thing. I thought I’d never get the gooey stuff off of my tummy. I did hear the sound, but it really wasn’t ultra to me, it was more like a squishy sound. I sure hope I don’t have to have that done again anytime soon. Tummy fur is quite useful when winter shows up.
I do wonder why they call it an ultrasound when they were looking at pictures on the TV thing. I guess maybe ultraTV or ultrapictures doesn’t sound nearly as expensive, oh, I mean cool. The good news, of course, is that they didn’t see or hear anything.
Thanks once again for all the well wishes, I love you too. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Brian so good to see you feeling better!! and yes ultra sound is pretty magical stuff especially when they find a big fat nothing! wonderful news..we hope you and Zoe continue to feel better ..sorry we have not been around..crazy busy..but have been keeping tabs on your progress sweet man…loves Fozziemum xx
Hooray for good news
Happy hug from me
xox
The best part of an ultrasound is if they don’t see anything! Is that twisted or what? I’m just glad you are getting better, Brian!
You could do a Mastercard commercial, maybe — you know the ones where they give the prices of such and such, and then say “x” is priceless. In this case, knowing there’s no stone or blockage IS priceless.
We’re glad you’re doing better, Brian, and we surely hope that there won’t be any more health issues for anyone, for a long, long, LONG time.
Purrs and peace.
That’s a great picture, Brian. You look very relaxed and content. And we are crossing our paws and hooves too that all better is just around the corner!
Purrs,
The Chans
We too have everything crossed and hoping everything will be OK. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
Brian – so happy to see you! We were so worried. I am sure those furs will grow back faster than you think!
Thank goodness they didn’t find anything bad! We hope you continue to feel better and better! Hugs and purrs!
Oh Brian we are so excited that you had nothing for the ultrasound to find and that you are feeling better. Such good news. Hope that Zoe is doing better too. You all have a great Monday.
That must be bad having belly fur shaved off. Hope it grows back fast since the cold weather is coming fast!
We’re soooo happy to hear that they saw “nothing” Nothing is a very good thing to see in an ultrasound.
Please stop by our blog today!
The Florida Furkids
I am still waiting for all my TAIL fur to grow back. Most irritating.
Glad you are feeling better. I will come snuggle with you so you won’t even miss the Tummy Fur.
haha yeah ultra sounds more expensive than normalsound. Glad everything is on the up and up
Brian you look good lying on your shaved tummy. We can’t even tell you had to have the ultrasound. Yes, ultra stands for ultra expensive.
Maybe the could call it tummy-tv? I’m glad they couldn’t see or hear bad things. I hope you are 100% Brian soon and I hope the fur on your tummy will grow back… or maybe the nordic doggies will donate some of their fur for you?
Brian, mom and I have thought of you each and every day and purred for you, You look so dear the pose you are in. Thank goodness “much better” is at paw. You scared us.
Maybe a nice sweater would help keep your tummy warm?
Purring! I love you Brian!
That’s an EXCELLENT point! That ultrasound thingy should be called an ultraview, for sure.
I’m VERY happy to hear you’re feelin’ much better. The all better really should be any time now. We just need to all keep on purrin’ for you and believe me, we are.
Purrs,
Nissy
We are so glad to hear that you are feeling better, Brian! We were very worried about you. What kind of noms did the vet prescribe for you? We hope you like them!
Continued healing purrs and love coming your way <3
Glad to see you are feeling better. We hope your tummy fur comes back soon.
Great news dear Brian!!!
Good news! Glad you are feeling better and got a good report from the vet. I’ll bet your shaved tummy looks cute! 🙂
Brian, Mom has been trying to figure out the look on your face and has decided you look sad. That must be as a result of the missing belly furs. The good news is that the Vet didn’t find anything. We will, however, continue to purr and pray for you until those furs are all grown in again and you are feeling 100 purrcent well. Stay on your tummy and stay warm. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Great news! We are so glad that the ultrasound didn’t show anything and that you are on the mend. We will continue sending purrs and prayers until a full recovery has been made!
OH NOS BRIAN MY PEEPS WERE AWAY OVER THE WEEKEND..I DID NOT KNOW YOU WERE FEELING POORLY!! I HOPE AND PURR ALL IS BETTER
HUGS MADI YOUR BFFF
São ótimas notícias, espero que você fique longe do ultrasom por muito tempo.
Tenham uma ótima semana!
Chloe Jo agrees. She is trying to grow her tummy fur back, too!
We are happy to hear that you are okay! Now, take it easy! ~xo~
Hahaha, good point about ultra-sound. I think it should be ultraTV! That sounds more fun 🙂 It’s great they didn’t find anything bad. I hope your tummy fur will grow back quicky.
Lookin’ good Brian my friend…………and hearing that the ultrasound didn’t show anything is SUPER good news. Losing your tummy fur – now that’s a problem! It really is quite useful in the winter but then that’s what nice fleece blankies are for!
Hugs, Sammy

Harvey, Miranda and Silver
Hoo Cat you bet feeling good is more fun and we are feeling better now that you are too. Yeah Dad says whenever you get the ultra or X in anything the price goes way up. He knows being a nursey man and just shelling out for our Rumpy’s X-Rays.
Purrs buddy
Timmy and Family
We’re glad the ultra$ound didn’t find anything. I bet your tummy is chilly, especially if they shaved an area big enough to look at your bladder then went up to look at your kidneys. It’s too bad they can’t shave little patches just where they need to put the sonic wand thingy.
Hopefully your tummy furs will grow back quickly. It’s been about 2 months since I licked all my furs off and now I have enough re-growth to hide my bare belly.
Oh Brian weez so happy dat da better is there now. Weez of course will keep purrayin’ fur yous all and weez can’t wait till da All Better arrives. And hahaha not spensiv soundin’. Unfurtunately yous purrawlly wight. MOL Weez not know why da Vets fink they need to chawge so much, but they suwe do. Hope yous all hav a Blest day.
Luv ya’
Dezi and Lexi
Glad you are feeling better. Hugs.

Well that is good news that they didn’t find anything on the ultrasound! Now you can keep getting better and better! And don’t worry, tummy furs grow back (unless you are Esme who doesn’t have them in the first place! :p )

Brian, we are so happy to hear you are feeling better! Katie had to have one of those ultra things recently too. Fortunately she didn’t have to give up any of her furs. But she was NOT a happy camper-cat.
Here’s to good health and smooth sailing!
