Mancat Monday: We’ve Had Lots of Brrrrr Humbugs

Adopt TiggerADOPT TIGGER

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it!

Okay, we’re southern cats and it’s supposed to be warm in the south. I’m not sure where I heard that, but I believed it to be true.  I know, I know, we’re also inside southern cats, but we can still feel the cold.

Seriously, the floors feel colder, especially when my tummy fur is trying to grow back. Sister Zoe and I both have naked tummies because we both had ultrasound things done. Anywho, it’s supposed to be warm in the south, but it’s not.  On Womancat Wednesday the temperature is supposed to get down to 21F.  Now if that isn’t a Brrrrr Humbug I don’t know what is.

We are glad that the feral kittens Zippy and Zorro are using the outside heated house. Zippy uses it lots and lots and Zorro seems to use it when it gets really, really cold.  I’m so glad they are wise about keeping warm.

I hope you all have lots of warm where you live and we all hope you have a wonderful week.  Please keep our dear friend Nylablue and her Mum Sherri-Ellen in your thoughts and prayers.

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

I’m so glad to know that your feral kitties are making use of the heated house! It is too cold where you kitties live! I don’t think it ever gets down to 21 degrees in L.A.!

can you please ask mommy & daddy to give those naked tummies a kiss from me?

Scylla, Socks, Tuiren & Fenris

It is wrongly cold here too and it is suppose to be in the 20s tonight here. So not right for this time of year. We shall have to drag Tui inside the house. For some reason she prefers to sleep in her doghouse outside, but when it is wrongly cold Mommy picks her up and brings her inside to sleep with Fenris. He is a big baby and doesn’t like the cold so he comes inside willingly when it is just a little chilly. And of course us cats have the brains to sleep inside on the electric blankets.… Read more »

Oh we so agree. Where oh where is that warm southern air. We just hope we don’t get ice tonight or tomorrow. You all stay warm. It is going to be cold all week, darn it all. Our poor outside cats don’t have heated houses but they places to get into little homemade houses outside. Take care.

It does sound quite cold over there, Brian. It has been getting down to the single digits over here at night in Colorado. The Mom had to do a lot of traveling to appointments last week when it was like 15F, too. We sure are glad that we are inside kitties!

We hope you are all finding ways to stay warm in all the cold.

since you are already cold down there, maybe you will consider moving to Michigan so at least you can EXPECT to be cold? MOL!!! xoxo

A nude tummy and cold sure doesn’t mix. Pat cranks up the heat so we are good.

It sounds like all you sweeties are having the same kind of weather we are. We hope your floors get warmer so you can keep those cute tummies nice and cozy. We have sunshine today and we hope you do too. Hugs and nose kisses

Try to keep warm, it is only 38 degrees here so we have a heating pad and heated blanket for the kitties to be extra toasty. We are sad about Nylablue.

It’s COLD here too – we had some wet snow this morning but now it’s just plain COLD rain. Time to get out the “woolies” !! This may be the first year I actually use the heating pad my Mom bought me a couple of years ago……STAY WARM! We saw one of our feral visitors coming OUT of the heated house on the porch this morning….SMART KITTY!

Hugs, Sammy

We are Southern kitties too, Brian, and this cold weather is NOT cool! Even though we don’t go outside, the house is still cooler. Mom and Dad said they are going to build some shelters to go in the back yard for the stray cats that live around. There are several, and Mom saw one in our Front Yard the other night when the temperatures were in the low 30s. She felt so bad for him.

We’re feeling your cold too, Brian. Everyone thinks Washington State is supposed to be cold in the winter but not our part of it, not 19 degrees cold! Yippee for smart feral kitties. Thank you for helping them keep warm!

It is cold hre too, but we suppose it is supposed to be cold here in Kansas. But in mid-November??? It is going to be single digits tonight. Mom was so happy this afternoon to see Phantom actually sleep on one of the dog beds:)

Tonight we’re supposed to have the first frost of the season then tomorrow it’s not gonna get much warmer. Keep reminding me it’s November. On the plus side, the Maple cats have gone. The TNR group may have thought they were adoptable.

That is too cold! Especially with no tummy hair.
It is mid-70’s at home, but about 40 where we are camped. Our traveling cat, has all his hair, but he is plastered to us anyway.

It’s whatever you’re used to that makes certain temperatures feel cold. Sorry about those naked bellies. That can’t be fun. Maybe you need more food to help your fur grow faster 🙂 Stay warm, my friends. It definitely is not warm here. 21°F would be balmy right now.
