Greeting’s everyone from Gracie’s Home! I know, I know, this is really Brian’s Home but he always gives me a funny look when I say that, so I had to see if he was paying attention. Yep, he was!
All in all I’ve been doing darn good and so far I’ve managed to evade the sniffle and sneezy thing that has been going on here. I’ve had to take some antihistamines just to make sure I’m all clear in the nose area, but I’ve been pretty good about taking those things.
Unfortunately, that scale thing hasn’t been overly nice to me. It seems to be stuck on the same number. It might be defective, or maybe the batteries are getting a bit tired. Dad puts me on it, and I do fuss a little bit, and then that same old number flashes up and I get to say see I told you so, it’s broken and stuck in a rut. The funny thing is that I often sit or lay on it because it is fairly comfortable as long as the power button is left alone.
Well, that’s it for me today. Brian is making some noise so I’m going to go see what he’s up to now. Have a fun Saturday everyone and we’ll see you soon.

Gracie..so glad the sneezies have been avoided! and as for the scales.well…we have the same malfunction here;) you see thought Dinnermintz had lost 700grams…seems it was only 100grams…it is hard when you ‘like’ your food so much 🙂 I don’t know about you Gracie ,but when Dinnermintz sits on the arm of the chair her belleh looks like a penguins brood pouch..maybe she is part penguin? are you ? 😉 loves Fozziemum xxx
Hi Gracie, I’m glad you are doing well. But the scale thing sounds very mean to you. Or just broken, or batteries are getting tired as you said. I feel comfortable when the power button is off when I’m on it, too 🙂
Gracie I agree, all that scale thingies are haunted. There is always an invisible goblin what sits with you on that scale to mess up your day. You only have to subtract the weight of the Goblin… let’s say 3 lbs… and everything is fine :o) have a super caturday!

Gracie, so good to hear that you are doing so well. Those scales all tell lies about weight. It just isn’t fair. You can’t help it if the scales tell stories. You all have a wonderful Saturday.
I think you need to ignore that scale thingie (unless you want to lie on it for fun of course) because you look purrrrfect to me…..!

Scales… just another human invention to annoy us! We think sleeping on them is a far better idea than getting weighed!

Losing weight can be tough, Gracie! We have a constant battle with Samantha here trying to keep her weight down too.

In my personal opinion those lying scales should be drowned at birth. I am sure a good bath (for the scales not you) would play havoc with their electronics and solve the problem. ~Scylla

Glad to hear you’ve escaped the sniffies! I like my scale too. It has a comfortable little cradle on top. Mom said she needs to weigh me and your post reminded her to get to it.
Sorry your number is stuck. Sometimes that happens, but I’m sure it will nudge downward eventually. I think it’s hard to lose weight in winter. Your body wants to rest and stay plump to keep warm.

Glad you have avoided the sneezies! You know, we eat Science diet indoor kitty foods and we are both doing ok with our weight if that is any help. The pieces are bigger and it takes longer to chomp them up. Don’t know if that would work for you, just letting you know what we have here 🙂 We think you are beautiful and your coat is shiny so we all think you are purrrrfect!!!
