URGENT: Purrs and Prayers for Brian Please

67 Comments on URGENT: Purrs and Prayers for Brian Please

Hello all, Dad Terry here.  Please send many purrs, prayers and power of the paw to dear Brian.  He is not doing well.  He has been going to the litter box constantly.  His Mom took him to the Vet today.  X-rays show a stone “or something else” in his bladder.  He is very uncomfortable.  He is going to our specialist on Friday morning to have an ultrasound to help determine what is bothering him.  He is on meds, including pain meds, and I am giving him fluids to keep him comfortable.

We likely won’t be visiting much for a while.  Thanks everyone.

Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear this, and I know you’re also dealing with caring for Zoe. I will be praying for Brian. I’m glad he has pain meds and I hope his appointment on Friday gives you good answers.

Sending much love to our “boy” and MANY purrs and prayers!!! If it is a stone, try not to worry….my Angel Bobo had six kidney stones removed at one time (he was about 14 yrs old at the time too) and he was fine……..maybe it is an infection or something? Sending much love and many many purrs! xoxo

Thinking of you all and purring that the “something” is just a stone. Can they put a catheter in if he is not urinating? We almost lost Snowball to a blockage but they got the catheter in before he built up toxins in his blood. If you have any questions for us – just email. Snowball was in the vet hospital for 3 days. He does fine now!

I had to take a breath before I started to write. Brian, Terry, the family HANG IN THERE. We love you heaps and heaps, our love is here for you and all of healing thoughts.

I will keep checking for updates. Mum has been at work this week (and that really messes up our online time).

You have all of our love,
    Marjorie, Miranda, Harvey and Silver.

We just saw the news about Brian and are sending our loudest purrs and most heartfelt prayers that our sweet boy is feeling better soon. We hope and pray his news is good. And if you need someone to talk to for any reason, please don’t hesitate to contact our mom.

We saw the news about Zoe’s diabetes. It is work to monitor it, especially at first, but thankfully it is something the vets have gotten much better at treating. Our mom went into labor early, was in hard labor with The Girl while on the phone telling her mom how to give insulin shots. So our advice is you have to plan ahead and for the unexpected.

Purrs, prayers and headbonks to you all!
