Mancat Monday: The Santa Watch, Health Updates and My Former Petshop

I’ve been keeping an eye out for Santa and this really is a comfy place to do just that.  I can see the Christmas Tree from here and I can also see out the big front window too. Actually, as you may remember, our cat trees got moved and we sort of like the new arrangement. Maybe they will stay here for a while, even when Christmas is over.

I did want to take a minute to update you on Sister Zoe.  Her glucose levels have been fine and she just had her two week follow up visit with her Dentist.  All looks really good in her mouth, which is good news, especially since she had 3 teeth pulled.  She wasn’t allowed any dry food for that two week period and she got the okay to have some dry food once again.  But I’ve noticed something, the dry food has been kind of rarely seen lately.  We only get it occasionally but we do get wet food more often.  Then there’s me.  I had another bout with the litter box and peeing lots again, but it seems to be under control once again. So, at least for the start of this week we are all doing pretty good.

I also want to thank all of you who visited and shopped at my Pet Supply Shop.  You will notice it is missing as I’ve taken it down.  The shop was hosted by Inside Warehouse. While the pricing was good, the customer service was, in  my opinion, not very good. Success requires great customer service.  I’ve had issues, as you may recall, with ordering pet food online and depending on it showing up on a timely basis.  If it doesn’t show up when you expect it, you have to go out to a pet supply store and get it. The question then becomes, if you have to go out shopping, why buy online?  Exactly. Unfortunately, Inside Warehouse has a ways to go.  You just can’t depend on your order showing up promptly and they were not willing to take ownership of that issue at all.  I take customer service most seriously.  So, they are no longer part of our family.

    Prompt delivery time is very important, especially if you are ordering prescription foods or medications and supplements.

    There’s no point in ordering food from a company that doesn’t deliver on time or tell you there could be a delay in delivery so you know where you stand with them. Glad you are all looking forward for Santa arriving.

You are so right about good customer service Brian…..actually, we don’t order food from ANY of the online services…NONE of them delivered it for when we needed it!     Yous lookin’ very handsum Brian, and weez so glad yous all feelin’ good at da moment. Weez’ll purray dat moment lasts. 🙂 And yep weez all ’bout customer service too, dat’s why weez shop wiff they always be there and ifin yous on a autoship purrogwam yous can always count on it bein’ on time. Course when yous place any order it;s quick to get to yous. Even duwin’ da holidays. Hope yous work out sumfin’ soon.

    I love it when my perches move because it makes them interesting all over again. They usually end up in their original location after a little while, but it’s fun to have the variety. It’s neat that yours are in a good location to keep a watchful eye out for Santa.

    I can’t say I’m gonna miss that Pet Warehouse but I know with 7 cats you have to find a way to buy at a discount. I never begrudge anyone. Sending more healing purrz. I think with less dry food everybuddy will be healthier. I love kibble but TW wants me to focus on wet food.

    Glad Zoe is doing well now, and hope Brian’s peeing gets back to normal. Our cats have been banned from hard food which is tough because they all loved it. It was too hard to control it since one cannot have it at all anymore.

    We’re glad Zoe is doing better…and you are okay now too, Brian. As far as why shop for pet food online, the mom does only because she can get brands on line that she can’t find in our local stores. But customer service is important no matter where you are.

    I considered opening an Inside Warehouse store myself, but just never got around to it. Now I’m glad I didn’t, thanks for filling us in on that!
