Mancat Monday: The Santa Watch, Health Updates and My Former Petshop

Adopt TiggerADOPT TIGGER

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it!
I’ve been keeping an eye out for Santa and this really is a comfy place to do just that.  I can see the Christmas Tree from here and I can also see out the big front window too. Actually, as you may remember, our cat trees got moved and we sort of like the new arrangement. Maybe they will stay here for a while, even when Christmas is over.

I did want to take a minute to update you on Sister Zoe.  Her glucose levels have been fine and she just had her two week follow up visit with her Dentist.  All looks really good in her mouth, which is good news, especially since she had 3 teeth pulled.  She wasn’t allowed any dry food for that two week period and she got the okay to have some dry food once again.  But I’ve noticed something, the dry food has been kind of rarely seen lately.  We only get it occasionally but we do get wet food more often.  Then there’s me.  I had another bout with the litter box and peeing lots again, but it seems to be under control once again. So, at least for the start of this week we are all doing pretty good.

I also want to thank all of you who visited and shopped at my Pet Supply Shop.  You will notice it is missing as I’ve taken it down.  The shop was hosted by Inside Warehouse. While the pricing was good, the customer service was, in  my opinion, not very good. Success requires great customer service.  I’ve had issues, as you may recall, with ordering pet food online and depending on it showing up on a timely basis.  If it doesn’t show up when you expect it, you have to go out to a pet supply store and get it. The question then becomes, if you have to go out shopping, why buy online?  Exactly. Unfortunately, Inside Warehouse has a ways to go.  You just can’t depend on your order showing up promptly and they were not willing to take ownership of that issue at all.  I take customer service most seriously.  So, they are no longer part of our family.

I hope you have a really wonderful week and we’ll be on Santa Watch here.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Prompt delivery time is very important, especially if you are ordering prescription foods or medications and supplements.

I’m glad there are no dark clouds over your kingdom and I hope they will stay away from you all. I agree with you a good customer service is always part of every deal.

There’s no point in ordering food from a company that doesn’t deliver on time or tell you there could be a delay in delivery so you know where you stand with them. Glad you are all looking forward for Santa arriving.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

We have observed that “customer service” is all too often a bad joke. 🙁

Mark’s Mews is right…don’t expect Santa any time real soon. 🙂

Very glad that you are all healthy…hope you all stay that way!

That looks like a great look-out spot… and certainly Brian’s the most handsome boy cat to decorate a cat tree. Purring that you all stay nice and healthy as the best present for your peeps.

How does your human know which one of you is peeing lots with so many kitties? There’s three of us and mom never knows which of us does what unless she happens to be home and follows us to the litter box.

Thank you for that info Brian. Really, I mean it because sometimes mommy almost caves and wants to buy on-line.

We were both VERY happy about Zoe. XXOO

I love it when my perches move because it makes them interesting all over again. They usually end up in their original location after a little while, but it’s fun to have the variety. It’s neat that yours are in a good location to keep a watchful eye out for Santa.
We’re very glad to hear that everyone is getting healthy and that Zoe’s glucose is stabilizing.

  16. Harvey Button

We rpesect your views Brian and know you do what is best for you and for us all. May I recommend you get in touch with our friends at LiveLoveMeow? The lady there has plans to be much better than most online retailers in 2015!

  17. Cathy Keisha

I can’t say I’m gonna miss that Pet Warehouse but I know with 7 cats you have to find a way to buy at a discount. I never begrudge anyone. Sending more healing purrz. I think with less dry food everybuddy will be healthier. I love kibble but TW wants me to focus on wet food.

  18. diane

Glad Zoe is doing well now, and hope Brian’s peeing gets back to normal. Our cats have been banned from hard food which is tough because they all loved it. It was too hard to control it since one cannot have it at all anymore.

  19. The OP Pack

We love good health reports. Grat to hear things are going well there. Hope you can find a good provider. Customer service is very important.

The crunchy food is completely gone at our house, too, and Mommy has been muttering about “going raw”…whatever that means.

We’re happy that everyone is feeling good!

  21. KB

I’m glad that the health report is good right now. Big Smiles!

I agree – customer service is the key to a good company. I’m glad you’ve pulled the plug on a company that didn’t deliver customer service.

  22. Debby

Good thing you are on Santa Watch!!
I’m glad the problems you and Sister Zoe have been having are getting better!
    What a relief.

I wish I had more time to blog and comment. I will be trying to carve out more time for this in my schedule coming up. I so love my connections with you and others here!

We’re glad Zoe is doing better…and you are okay now too, Brian. As far as why shop for pet food online, the mom does only because she can get brands on line that she can’t find in our local stores. But customer service is important no matter where you are.

  24. Marty the Manx

Glad Sister Zoe is doing well. A little worried about you though Brian 🙁 Sorry that your food shop wasn’t up to snuff, I hate poor customer service, it is one of my big pet peeves! Hope you all have a fantastic week!

We’re glad to hear that things are looking up on the health front there. That would be the best Christmas present, wouldn’t it? Just for everyone to be healthy!
I considered opening an Inside Warehouse store myself, but just never got around to it. Now I’m glad I didn’t, thanks for filling us in on that!
