It’s often said that this is the season for giving. Purrsonally, we like giving much more than we do receiving. There are many, of all species, that don’t have much at all. We are the fortunate ones, so let’s not forget those who are typically just happy to make it through the day.
I am happy to see lots of our pals helping out with toys for shelter critters. That is super wonderful. But everyone doesn’t do it. So, this will be short and sweet today. I would be most thankful if everyone just did one thing to make life better for someone else, be it critter or human. Just one thing. We can all do something. Put your imagination hat on and imagine how much better the world would be if everyone just did one nice thing for someone else.
Thanks for being our friends! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

A wonderful thought Brian..we will be treating our shelter cats and doggies for xmas as the furry ones here are very lucky to have all they need..loves Fozziemum xx
We love it! You can count on our pawticipation.
Happy Thursday, sweet furriends.

What an awesome thought to act on, Brian! I hope everyone who reads your post today takes it to heart.
Your thought is so so true that efurrybody can do something !
XOXO
So true! I love to give too even though I’m very limited on what I can give. Sometimes I think it is best to remember that you can’t save the world single-handedly. Just try to do one thing for one person/animal at a time.
What a perfect thought and challenge for the day, Brian.
I so agree, if you see the joy about a gift you made, then it is like a gift for yourself too. I donated food for the pups who have no home and I hope they will like it and I hope they know that they are in my thoughts and in my heart.
That us such a good idea. Our Mom loves to do things for other Peeps and especially for animals. It makes her feel so good.
That is a great picture of you Brian. Have a great day.
Totally agree with you..> lucy and I are working together reaching out to authors getting autographed books for the shelter who saved her to auction off during their fund raising event… it has been a success so far
Giving is special.
You are right, everyone can do something! Xox
I love this picture of you, Brian.
Thanks for encouraging all of us to think & do for others.
Hear, hear we so agree and even one little thing can make a difference. Have a tremendous Thursday.
Best wishes Molly
That’s a great idea, Brian!
You are so right, Brian. One nice thing a day for someone else would certainly make the world a better place. We hope that everyone gives it a try.
We much prefer giving like you do, Brian.
Great thought Brian!
Great thought indeed, and that we did at our feed.
Brian, we will forever be thankful for all that you did to help our Jewel and to help Milita when she really needed her dental surgery. The Mom tries to make the shelter kitties’ lives better by going to visit them and giving them love. Hers hopes that it makes a difference for them.
What a very sweet post. There are many things to do that won’t cost any money like visiting shelter animals, holding the door for someone ( this should always be done anyway, but many don’t) or just smiling when you walk past someone can brighten their day.
That is a wonderful and kind request, Brian. We didn’t do paper cards this year and instead made a donation to our local rescue.
Woos – Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
If everyone were to do even just one thing nice for someone else, we could start a revolution of kindness. How wonderful would that be?
Purrs,
Nissy
It is lovely when you can do something for someone else – even if it’s just a small thing it can make such a difference.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

I love your post!
And I consummate one good action now… it´s awesome.
Love you!
We are going to help Gramma on the weekend as she has been feeling poorly for a few months now, and I bake cookies and bring them to our neighbor dogs every year for Christmas 🙂 Bert has no plans to help anyone but himself to more food. He needs to learn to share.
Have to agree. Sometimes getting through a day is tough but we like to help! We go to our rescue today – so we help some more.
OK EVERYBUDDY Let’s Help SOMEONE NEW TODAY!!
Harvey
that is a good thing to wish for….we think sometimes people get overwhelmed by things they see and end up not doing anything. just one little thing makes a difference to that person or creature
We agree and one thing we did this year was to surprise someone with just a little extra unexpected Christmas Cheer. We get so much more out of seeing someone else happy than we do by any of the gifts we receive.
Wonderful idea. Have a great day.
Right on! *wags*
We agree Brian with everything you said.
BTW, you look mighty cute in that photo. Mom is dying to give you smooches.
Oh wouldn’t that make for just the bestest world for all humans and critters! Mom tries to do just a little more each year to make up for those who can’t help ’cause we’ve been really blessed to have efurrything we need. Ho, ho, ho, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
That is a lovely thought Brian. Me and my mum have packaged up several boxes of cat food for our local very small rescue. We picked out some of my lightly used toys as well and they are marinating in nip ready to be packaged up as well.
Beautiful Post Brian.
What a wonderful thought. If everyone does one nice thing, the world will be a much better place!
We try to do something nice everyday …and even more during the holidays! A Wonderful thought, Brian!
You’re right Brian, helping just one person or critter, even in a small way, can make a big difference.
M has 2 bags of kitty food and a bag of toys to deliver to the vet’s office tomorrow. They are collecting for our Humane Society in our city. This is the first time I have been aware of a drive like this locally, so they must be really hurting and in need. Christmas is all about giving, from the heart.
Short, Sweet and Purrfect Post today Brian! Mom is taking her canned foods and treats to the shelter this Caturday!
You are smart Brian! One small gesture can make such a big difference to both the receiver and the giver!! 🙂
the critters in the cottage xo
I like your charge. Just one thing, or maybe two if we’re greedy with being generous!
Happy Friday!
TW fed the Maple cats today! She also held the door for a neighbor.
😉 Done Brian…I adopted Siddhartha!
Merry Christams to all of you there.

So well said Brian, you are such a wise Mancat. This is so true.
