Well, it finally happened, again. That darn Christmas Tree went into hiding. I actually know where it went so it isn’t very good at hiding. The Christmas Tree got stuffed in a great big box and went upstairs to live with Sister Preciouis.
Most of us love the Christmas Tree and we love to sit and look at it and lay under it. That tree was also a nice place to hide at medicine time. Our new tree is pretty big and the base is low to the ground, so it’s awfully difficult to get us out from under it if we get way back there. Now the recliner is back and it’s not worth a hoot to hide behind. Oh well, we’ll just have to rely on running faster than the peeps. We’re all pretty good at running from the Medicine Man.
Medicine, for me? Yep, I’ve been having some pee problems again. I have a bad case of chronic cystitis. I seem to be okay for about 2 weeks and then I get the pees again for a week, then okay for 2 weeks. You get the picture. I’ve had tons of tests but everything seems normal. So, it’s likely stress related and we’re dealing with that but there has been some serious scooping going on around here.
That’s a wrap for a Monday and I hope y’all have a totally purrfect week. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

I hope this bout of cystitis goes away soon, Brian – I am sending purrs your way!
Brian you poor thing..again with the piddly petes…we had a ‘run’ of it here…maybe ask dad if it is a stress thing whether a pheromone collar would help to chill you out…we all get stressed and when we live in busy multi pet houses (as we sure do here) sometimes one of us gets a bit out of sorts..so take your meds and get the pee pistol sorted! 🙂 loves Fozziemum xxx
Awww, Mr. Brian, we got you in our purrs and prayers. We all know taking medicine is NO fun. It’s aways a little sad when the tree comes down and it always look like something big is now missing. Maybe we should all politic for Christmas in July so it can come back out again before next December?!?!
Hugs to you all!
Poor Brain,
I purrs hard for you, Buddy
I hope all thing turns better very soon. You know we all here do love you, yes ?
I have you in my thought
(( Hug ))
PS : thanks a lot for purring for me & my grandpa
We had a great time running around unner the tree. It wasn’t real, but it wasn’t that bad either.
Sad ta hear about the pees. But we know a bit about that.
We’ll start purring for you again….we sure wish they could figure this out and get you feeling better!!
Our tree went away yesterday too….we miss it.
The Florida Furkids
Hope you feel better soon, Brian! That’s not good at all.
Our tree leaves promptly the day after Christmas, but it sure is nice while it lasts to lounge undeneath.
Oh Gosh Brian, not again. That is too bad. We sure send many purrs and are also crossing our paws that you feel better really soon. You all stay warm. Going to be really cold in a couple of days.
Hope you get better soon.
I hope this bad cystitis disapee-rs immediately and the meds help you to fix that pee-problem. I think all cats should get a christmas tree for the whole year, a tree and a cat on the bottom is the purrfect Team.
Brian, we sure hope a good resolution can be found for your cystitis. You have our purrs…and so do your humans, who must want to pull their hair out by now. Lots of hugs and kitty kisses.
Brian, I loved the idea of you being able to really hide under the tree. But I am so sorry about your cystitis. You lok like such a calm boy, not a worry in the world. Maybe now that the holidays are over you will do better.
At least you are a cat, so you won’t pee on the tree! Hope your problem clears up again…maybe a food switch???
We’re sorry you’ve got cystitis again Brian – are you stressed over something?
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
We is sorry you is having potty troubles, Brian. The Mom puts these purple collars on mes to help mes not be stressed. Hers calls them “calming collars.” Sentry makes thems. They seem to help, too!
We hopes your peoples can find something that helps you, too, dear friend. <3
Purrs,
Carmine

Poor Brian, that doesn’t sound like any fun at all! Take care and take your medicine.
The best hiding spots always get taken away. Hopefully 2015 will be stress free with less pee

We sure hope you get passed that Brian… soon too!
This is the time of year our mom and dad say, “Whew! No tree to put away this year. High five!” and then they do this weird smacking hand thing (which is way better to see than that belly-bumping thing), but from everything we’ve been hearing about pretty trees and secret hiding spots, we’re going to insist on one next Christmas. Purrs to you, Brian. It’s not fair that that pee thing doesn’t want to go away.
Hope you smack the heck out of this cystitis thing Brian. Our tree is still up and we pay no attention to it at all – WHEN THE HUMANS ARE LOOKING.
Awww Brian we hope you feel better. We are sorry about the cystitis. Mom STILL has her tree up!
The Christmas tree really is a great spot for hiding. We really enjoyed wrestling and playing underneath ours too. It’s a sad time when it goes bye-bye. Something to look forward to next Christmas, though!
And Brian, so sorry you aren’t feeling your best. Sending loads of purrs and prayers!
That’s a bummer, Brian!! 🙁 Sending purrs for you, buddy xox
Brian, serious question here. Are the girls kinda being a bother? You meowed about stress.
Oh Brian I am sorry you are having another bout of that darn Cystitis…..it is so difficult to stop it ….Maybe the stress of the TREE being put away activated it…so maybe it needs to be up all year long>>>ROFL…
Please take your meds & get well soon.
Love Sherri-Ellen & Siddhartha too

Drat, where are those trees when you need them to take cover!
Sorry to hear your cystitis is playing up again Brian. Hope the pills work their magic.
Dip and Elliot x
Oh poor Brian! You’re still as handsome as ever. I’m gonna send you some healing purrz. I hope none of your sisters are stressing you out. Our tree is still here and still bright green. I think it goes bye-bye this weekend.
Sorry you are having some troubles, I will add you to my prayer list. Depending on the cause, I have heard prozac can be helpful if it is stress induced.
Well, that’s no fun about the cystitis! I hope it goes away for good soon.
I can’t recall if your tried the calming collars. I know you use Feliway sometimes. Whenever anything is chronic I like to use adjunct or alternative medicine (Reiki, Rescue Remedy or other essences in the drinking water (for the humans too to reduce stress). Sending love and purrs.
Sorry to hear you have cystitis again Brian and purr that it soon clears up. I hide under the Christmas tree too when it is medicine or injection time. Mum was going to take it down today but she was out most of the day and didn’t have time, so I get to keep it for another day.
Oh Brian, I am so sorry you are having peeing problems again. Healing purrs and Loving Kisses. ~Scylla
Brian, I’m sorry to hear this. I hope the stress can be dealt with and banished so there’s no more too-much-pee!
Oh bless Brian I am so sorry that you are not well. I send you love and hugs and hope you are all well soon
Sorry the tree is gone and there is no place to hide.
We send purrs that your pee issue will go away for good.
Let’s hope 2015 will be a good year for you and your family 🙂
Purrs Georgia and Julie,
Treasure and JJ

Our inside tree disappeared too, Brian. It made us sad because we liked sleeping under it. We’re sorry you’re having pee problems again. We’re purring for you.
Lots of Purrs coming you way Brian. mes hates it when mes has the pes.
Kisses
Nellie
Silly Tree! It needs a better hiding spot.
Brian, Sweet Pea had a few bouts of pee problems and what really worked for her was a few weeks of amitryptelline. Her stress level went down so her bladder healed. After the first few days she was less zoned out–it didn’t blunt her personality other than she did sleep more and put on a bit of weight. She trimmed down afterwards and no problems for a year, now.
Sorry to hear you’re peeing up a storm again. At least your humans are on top of the problem and get you fixed up right away.
Sending you White Dog healing energies that are strong enough to break the seeming cycle but we are glad you are taking your meds without too many arguments! Funny about that tree hiding. Who would guess that Christmas trees were so shy.
Love you so much Brian. You must get better. xxoo
Trees still up at our house. Everything stays at least until Epiphany, which is today. So sorry about the pee problem. That’s been going on with Giulietta for quite sometime, and our vet cannot find anything wrong with her either. Probably stress as well. Hope you can get your pee problems worked out. XOCK, Kitties Blue
Brian buddy, sending you mega purrs for all to be resolved with ease and for you to be feeling better ASAP.
