Today I want to send a very special thank you to everyone who donated and shared the fundraiser for Joe the Donkey and Marg. I asked you to come through for Joe and Marg and boy did you ever! I’ve borrowed Mom’s iPhone so that I can organize the list and send out thank you notes to the donors. The fundraising page will be active until the end of January for those that still wish to contribute.
We exceeded the goal we set and thanks to all of you we did it in record time. More importantly, thanks to all of you Joe has a better chance of healing from his wounds. Joe and Marg and all the critters thank you for helping.
I always tell everyone that I have the best friends in the whole wide world and y’all proved me right once again. Thank you, thank you , thank you for all that you do to help others every single day.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

This is such a great, caring community!
I saw a picture of Joe today and he does look a little better. Hope he is feeling better too!
We hope to be able to donate from Mum’s shop sales Brian, paws crossed!
Thanks to the wonderful donors and GO JOE!!!
We are above all very thankful that Joe is back home and feeling better! Thanks for organising the fundraising, Brian!
Purrs,
The Chans
We were so pleased to see how blogville came to Joe’s aid and were thrilled when we read Joe was back home and on the road to recovery.
It is wonderful that Joe is back home and doing better. We hope and pray for a full recovery for him.
I guess somehow we missed out on that event, but Mom loves that adorable donkey and is happy that things are going a bit better for him.
We were SO happy to do a Commentathon to benefit Marg and Joe on my birthday AND lucky that one of my followers kindly matched what we raised for a total gift to Marg of $100!!! YAY! We’re glad to hear too that Joe is doing better….that makes my heart happy!
Hugs, Sammy
Hurray that’s great news! By the way, I don’t know if there is also going to be any kind of auction, but I’m always happy to donate one of Pip’s books to auctions. Just let me know.
I’m so glad to hear that Joe is doing better! It’s wonderful how everyone has come together to help him.
I love the little card. So cute!
The CB is wonderful; I love how everyone helps everyone else out. We all have tough times and big, big vet bills sometimes and need a bit of help. I am so glad that we are part of such a loving and wonderful community 🙂
I just love this community xox
Every little bit that we kick in helps, doesn’t have to be a huge sum — it all adds up as was proven in this case. It’s awesome how the pet- blogging community comes together like this, to give to, essentially, strangers. We’re glad the goal was surpassed and hope that it takes care of all of Joe’s bills, and maybe helps with any other vet costs too.
Blogland is sure a great place indeed, glad Joe is doing much better
we love this community for the way they give back….so happy to hear Joe is doing better and the donkey boys are back home
Always glad to help fellow bloggers.
I’m so glad that Joe is doing better!
We are so glad that Joe is getting the help he needs to recover from his injuries. How wonderful and special that so many friends were able to contribute and even surpassed the goal! We wish we could have contributed. We sent lots of purrs and prayers though!
What excellent news. Mom sent some green papers before you set up the fundraiser. We are continually blown away by the kindness and generosity of our blogging community. We LOVE Marg and Joe and would want to help. We’re so happy you called our attention to it and started the fund going. You are a blessing to all of us Brian for all you do for animals.
Brian parabéns pela iniciativa em ajudar Joe, fiquei contente com os resultados, você tem amigos muito especias.
We’re sure this means a whole lot to Marg. The blogosphere is a great family.
Hey, Brian, is it just the camera angle, or are you a small cat? That phone looks really big next to you. We always thought you were a big cat!
We’re thankful that YOU started the fundraiser and raised so many green papers for Joe.
The Florida Furkids
It was the least we could do. Marg does so much to help the animals, and with the auctions. (We donated via Paypal before the You Caring link went up.)
We’re so glad funds were raised to help Marg and Joe. We had already contributed prior to you setting up the You Caring link, but we’re so thankful everyone was able to help out. Thanks for setting up the link.
Pawsome! We couldn’t contribute but we shared it. I’m glad Joe is feeling better.
We’re glad so many helped Joe too. 🙂
You guys are awesome. ~xo~

It was so thoughtful and kind of you to organize the fundraiser. We all were very sad about Joe’s injuries, and glad you created a way to help.
