Thankful Thursday GIVEAWAY: Rescued is Always Wonderful

NOTE:  This giveaway is open to everyone, regardless of where you live.  See the details below.

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it! Rescued. Oh how we love that word here.  As you know, we are a home of seven rescue kitties.  We know how important that word is to all of us.  It’s not often that we get to hear directly from the kitties though.  This book changes all of that.

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it!
Here is the quickie summary:

What do a cozy mystery star, an award-winning blogger and a library supervisor have in common? They are all cats…once homeless cast-offs that were living on the streets or in the wild. Cats that people ignored, or worse, abused. But at some point, fate stepped in and changed the lives of these three cats and nine others. Rescued: The Stories of 12 Cats, Through Their Eyes contains the true-life stories of these cats—but each one is told through the feline’s own point of view. Human authors might have made these stories too saccharine and sentimental, but when they are viewed through the cats’ own eyes, they become funny, tragic, earthy and inspiring. This collection was carefully compiled and edited by Janiss Garza, renowned author and columnist for CatChannel.com.

Now for the Giveaway part:  This giveaway is open to everyone.  Non-US readers, please leave your country name in your comment.  Why?  I’m giving away six (6) books, 3 to U.S. readers and 3 to our international pals.  How do I enter?  Just leave me any kind of comment to indicate that you want to be included.  I will use Random.org to determine the winners.  The giveaway closes on Sunday, February 22nd at 12 Noon EST.

Rescued is a totally wonderful book and is totally important on many levels as portions of the proceeds go to support the rescues.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

We heard about the book on Facebook. Mom always has kitties from a shelter of some kind. I don’t think she would ever get a kitty from anywhere else.

We’ve read about Summer’s humans’ book – those stories just HAVE to be inspiring and wonderful….we’d LOVE to win a copy in your giveaway! We are in the good old USA (Virginia)!

  6. Simba

I have read about this wonderful book on Summer’s blog and would love to have a chance to win a copy. Even though I was not in a shelter, in a way I WAS rescued, because I would have gone to a shelter if my humans had not adopted me from my first owners.

Please include me in your drawing. I am a regular reader and mother to 4 furbabies and have 3 grandcats. It’s nice to be able to read the goings-on in a local cat home. Like you, I am all for adoption. All of our cats found us and, truth be known, they rescued me.

It would be a wonderful gift to receive.
We have a rescued dog whom we love very, very much. She is old, blind, and sick, but were told at a veterinary hospital in Calgary that she is otherwise healthy, and when the infection is gone she will be a good candidate for surgery.
Meanwhile, she has her own Facebook page, called Lindy’s Own Page, and we live in southeastern Alberta, Canada.
