Well, I can’t believe that Dad or Mom didn’t think to get any pictures, but that really is the case. So, you’ll just have to read along and use your imagination.
As most of you know, I was rescued from a Christmas Tree Farm and was taken care of for 9 long months by Kitten Action Team here in Greenville, SC. They really loved me, especially Sandy, the head of the rescue. She was so, so happy when I finally got to go to a terrific home.
I think it’s probably pretty rare when us rescue kitties get to meet up with our rescuers years later. Well, Sandy came to visit the other night. Dad was a little worried about me being social since I usually hide when someone comes to the door. That wasn’t always the case, but since those noisy roofer humans were here I often go hide now.
Anyways, Sandy came in the house and called for me. As soon as I heard her voice I ran right to her. I would know that voice anywhere. Not only did I run to her, but so did Sisters Zoe and Gracie who were also rescued by Kitten Action Team. Sister Sascha was also rescued by them and she did say hello, but then she went and hid. I was super social and was so very happy to see her again and we had a very nice visit. Kitten Action Team does so many great things for the kitties.
Hey, Sandy was here for a reason, but that’s a story for another day.
If that wasn’t nice enough, my friends, The Kitties Blue from The Cat On My Head, Shared their Very Inspiring Blogger Award with our Dad.
Dad was very honored and we love the Kitties Blue and find them to be super inspirational. Surely you know them, if not, you had best head over and solve that problem.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
My human rescued a couple of kitties, many, many years ago – she doubts they would remember her, even the one who lived with her and her boyfriend for a month. That kitty would have to be about 11 or 12 now.

Pawsome what a lovely meet and greet and we are sure Sandy was touched that you remembered her. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
We always remember the tree farm where you were found. TBT tells us about it.
I’m so glad you ran to her… and that you ‘d never forget her voice… A few months back the woman who runs the social media for the humane society that saved Lucy came to the house. Even though Lucy never met her, I thought she’d instantly love the lady. Lucy was sleeping when she arrived and the woman went to pet her. Lucy hissed… but then later warmed up
that is sooo sweet and congrats on the adoption! xoxo
Wow, that is so wonderful, Brian! How nice that Sandy came to visit, and that you remembered her so well with love and happiness.
Yay for Melba!
Wow, what fun that Sandy came to see you. I bet it was such a nice surprise for you Brian. Can’t wait to hear what the other reason was that Sandy was there. You all have a great day and hope you made it through the storms all right.

It is nice when rescuers can keep up with the cats they’ve helped. Another wonderful ending – beginning, actually.
Thank you for coming to visit upon Tungsten’s passing. It was her ending, and not a wonderful one, either. But her life was good and, I hope, happy. I know she made me happy.
Aw that is so sweet that you remembered her! I wonder how Callie will act when she gets to see her old family again… I think it will be cool to see how happy she is when it happens.
How fun to get to meet again after such a long time!
I rescued a doggie from the pound a month ago and couldn’t be happier, spring came so full of good news this year! 😀

That is lovely that you remembered Sandy and went to her when she called you.
I am so happy that Melba has a home and is safe now.
We are celebrating about Melba AND that you know and love your rescuer. What a person Brian!!!!!!
We bet Sandy was thrilled and honored to know you all remembered her! How sweet!
Fico feliz que Melba tenha encontrado uma família para sempre, tenho certeza que ela vai ser muito feliz.
Achei muito emocionante vocês lembrarem de Sandy depois de tanto tempo!
A heart warming story. More happy endings for kitties please.
Paws up for Melba! We don’t know if we would remember our fosters. Pierre was pretty close to his foster Mom, and we wish that social media had been more of a thing back then so we could have let her keep in touch with him.
Just goes to show that we furries will never forget a kind human hand and heart:)
Woos – Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
How wonderful you got to see your rescuer again.
We are happy you enjoyed the visit.

Super news about Melba. I used to see the woman who saved me from the kill shelter all the time cos she was a groomer at the 1st vet I went too. But we switched vets when they tried to kill me. Anyway, I used to be super friendly too until they did that noisy duck cleaning so we have that in common.
I bet Sandy was happy you remembered her. Congrats on the award- you deserve it.
Sounds like a wonderful day and plenty of reasons to celebrate.
How cool that you still remember your rescuer Sandy. She must be pretty special. 🙂
How sweet that you remembered Sandy! I bet that meant the world to her.
Oh we are sooooooo happy for Melba!!!
So, so happy that Melba has a new home. Mom was sharing with all her Barn Cat Buddies friends here in VA, but they all said they were already overwhelmed. How great that you remembered Sandy. Bet that really warmed her heart. Happy you liked your award. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

Brian, we are not surprised…there are a couple of occasional visitors that we remember and LOVE–like our neighbor Gisela.
We are so, so happy for Melba! How fantastic! Brian, that was so special for you to get a visit from Sandy and for you to run out when you heard her voice, how great!
While I do not run toward a voice from my former shelter, I seldom ever run UTB at any voice. But let me tell you…my Cuzin Leo runs to Mom L and Dad P every single time they visit him and he immediately head bumps them and turns his hear over for cheek rubs
Congrats on the award Brian! That is so cool that you met your rescuer again after all that time! She must have been so happy that you remembered her 🙂
