Sister Saturday with the Zoe

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it! Hello everyone!  Actually I wasn’t ready for my post today, I’ve just been sitting here on the Ottowoman watching everyone else.  It’s a good thing Brian reminded me!

So, let’s see, what should I talk about today?  I know, let’s talk about closed doors.  I don’t like doors that get closed, especially when they are the ones that are usually open.  The door to the big bedroom has been closed some lately.  Actually it gets closed for a while in the morning and for a while in the evening.

Any guesses as to why?  You may recall that I get lots of medicines, some in the morning and some in the evening.  I was pretty good at figuring out that schedule so I’d go hide under the big bed so I could try to get out of taking my medicine.  I thought I was being pretty smart, but it turns out the peeps were determined to out smart me.  So, when I go out to the kitchen for my breakfast and for my dinner the door to the big bedroom gets mysteriously closed.

I guess until I figure out a better plan I will take the high road, I’m licking a lot less and not pulling out my furs, and I’m eating good.  I am thinking of up a new plan to out smart the peeps though.  Wish me luck.

Have a fun weekend everyone!  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Oh Zoey, we are so glad to hear that you are getting so much better. Now be a good girl and let them give your medicine so you can continue to get better. That is such good news.
You all stay dry today.

It is never good when the humans outsmart or trick you. My kitties don’t like closed doors at all, so we rarely have a closed one around here.

I can relate, Zoe! As you probably know, I have been struggling with various infections, had dental surgery some months ago, and now cystitis, so I’ve been on lots of antibiotics and pain meds over the past several months now! I HATE taking my meds, too, and now when the Mom tries to come pet me, I dive under the bed because I think it’s time for meds again! We will have to think of a good escape plan together. Let’s brainstorm, ok?

Poor Zoe. Humans can be so sneaky. But I’m sure you’ll be able to outsmart them. Have a lovely Caturday, sweetie.

I’m glad you are doing well and hope you continue to improve! We have to be *very* sneaky when we want to pick up our kitties for nail trimming, especially our Gracie.

The peeps sure caught on to that one. You’ll have to be sly and come up with a new plan.

Zoe madi mom here: how do your smart peeps give you your pills? Madi is having to take her very first pills ever (for a tummy issue, they are working but what a challenge). I had to take her back to the vet two days for them to pill her. The pill popper was good for one time then useless and very stressful for Madi as she is not fond of being held too long. We finally bought some pill pockets they have worked so far.

Sounds as if life is good for you these days Zoe, and that makes all of us very happy! Giulietta has figured out that she gets her pill before the humans go upstairs in the evening and starts running the moment Mom comes near. We don’t get it as she gets her pill wrapped in this nommy bacon pill paste! Please join us tomorrow for our Sunday Selfies Blog Hop. Zoe, we don’t like closed doors either. We’re certain there must be some kind of fun party or something on the other side of the door. Waffles on the other hand is really good at *closing* doors all by himself. Every few days we find him locked in the powder room. ; )

…”Ottowoman” HAHA!!!!

Purrs to you sweet, Zoe. Happy Caturday!

Katie Kat, Oreo and Sammy

Zoe, not only are you the most beautiful kitty in the werld but you am so furry smart… so we are sure you will figure out a way to outsmart your peeples… -Sammy.

Zoe, we am glad you not pulling your furs… even tho you not like medicines, it am purrobably goods fur you… Mom said so. – Oreo.

Zoe, be goods and takes ur meds… if you do that, then the door may magically open.

I am glad you are improving Zoe. Closed doors and worse still, closed cat flaps are always bad news for me too.

You have some genius humans, Zoe! I’m glad you’re taking your meds and getting better. I know it’s not fun taking meds but it is fun feeling better, right?

Ahh, yes, the old close-the-door-to-keep-kitty-from-hiding thing. We had to do that now and then for Orbit, but it was mostly so he wouldn’t leave us any surprises on-or under-the bed. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Zoe, we don’t like closed doors either. And our peeps do the same thing and close the door to the bedroom whenever we hafta go to the vet. Those humans are sneaky.

Annie

Zoe, you’re so pretty and I’m so happy to hear you’re not pulling out your fur and eating well. Sounds like your pills are working very well. Annie does the same as you and we also have to close doors. Maybe just stick it out even though I know pills are no fun.
