Zoey is at Concerned Citizens for Animals in Greenville, SC:
This scared but sweet soul is Zoey. She is just over a year old and not sure what happened. She was adopted as a kitten with her sister Molly but brought back to our shelter, at no fault of her own, when her owner became allergic.
She is shy right now, not sure of what is going on. She lets you get close to her and pet her but she is not interested in saying hello to her new roommates in our cat room yet. Once she understands that she won’t be hurt, she will come out of her shell.
She is up to date on shots, spayed, micro-chipped, and litter box trained.
You can see more of this beautiful girl at her Petfinder.com page: HERE.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

She is so cute and has beautiful markings. I love her pretty pink nose! I’m sure with time she will come out of her shell. Good luck to her finding a home.
Zoey is very pretty! I always wonder about this “allergic” thing… why does it always seem to come on all of a sudden, even after the cats have been living with the humans for months or years? I don’t buy it.
Such a beautiful face. I hope she finds a nice home with people who LOVE pets.
poor Zoey… that’s so sad… do you know what happened to her sister? I hope she found a new home…
That Zoey is so pretty. Wish I could take her. She looks like she is going to be a really nice cat to have.We sure hope she finds a home really soon. You all have a super day.
What a beautiful girl. Did her humans somehow become allergic to her and not her sister? That seems a bit far-fetched. We’re purring that an understanding family takes her to a forever home soon!
Zoey is beautiful, and how heartbreaking that her humans “all of a sudden” became allergic. 🙁
We hope this sweet girl will find a new and true forever home very soon. We’ll share her now.
Zoey is beautiful! I just hate to hear about people dumping cats because of allergies when there is so much you can do to ease allergies. My assistant is highly allergic to just about everything, but she would never give us up. Vacuums, Hepa filters, medication – there’s so many things people can do. Sigh …
She’s gorgeous. We hope she gets a wonderful FOREVER home soon.

Oh I really hope Zoey finds a loving home. She must be so puzzled and discombobulated!! Will share! xxxx
This breaks my heart. I wish she had her sister with her. ❤
So very sad……..it’s hard to imagine what goes on in the head of an animal who felt secure then didn’t all of a sudden….confusing, scared…..Zoey is gorgeous – beautiful coloring………I do hope someone takes her home and KEEPS her there very soon!
Love, Sammy
WHAT a RAVING beauty and that is the truth! Poor precious little one. Mommy is in love. Again.
Poor Zoey…such a sweet kitty!
How can people be so heartless?
How can people be so cruel?
Easy to be hard, easy to be cold
Best wishes for Zoey!
Ugh, don’t even get me started on the allergy excuse…
Poor Zoey! She must be so confused and sad. Did they bring her sister back, too? Maybe someone can explain to Zoey what happened? Kitties are very intelligent and can understand more than we know.
In any case, I hope this beautiful girl finds her true forever home soon!
Allergies are the lamest excuse-right after babies. I hope she gets a forever home soon.
Only time allergies are valid is when the human breaks out in hives or goes into shock, otherwise pffft. Such a pink nose, hopefully she finds a better home soon.

She is SO CUTE!!! No doubt about it, allergies are a orime excuse for bad behaviour by humans. They clearly did not deserve such a lovely girl. All paws crossed that she finds the best Forever Home soonest.
Purrs,
The Chans
Our mom knows all about that allergic excuse because she’s been certified as allergic to cats for twenty-five years! Never stopped her from loving all of us and all who came before. Something about using common sense, she says. Sweet Zoey, the real forever home you get will be so much better and you will know true love at last. Sending adoption vibe purrs out that her real forever family will come a-running soon!
Poor Zoe. When we had our cat for 8 years I got asthma and didn’t even consider giving him away. He lived another 10 years after that.
Hope she finds a good home.

What a beauty. And such a sad story. What…the person was only allergic to Zoey and not Molly? Our daddy is allergic and takes shots and medicine. Sometimes he gets sneezing fits, but he wouldn’t give us up for anything. Best wishes to Zoey. Purring and praying she finds the purrfect home. Zoey é uma menina linda, espero que ela encontre uma boa família.
Eu fico triste quando um animal é devolvido, mas é melhor assim do que ser jogado fora.
She’s a true beauty. I wish that some people weren’t such ignorant jerks about pets. That being said, thank you for helping her, and I hope that she finds a home very soon!
Yes, that happens here, too. Allergies develop and the easiest solution is get rid of the pets. The human who owned her must’ve had some real deep bond with her, eh?
OMG! She is such a cutie! Sharing and hoping she finds a forever home soon.
What a beauty Zoey is, sending purrs her way for a wonderful forever home to come forward where she is truly cherished!
Indeed the allergy is a rotten excuse..unless anaphalaxis ..i mean i have constant red sore eyes and have had drs tell me i may have my health issues because of my animals..well i know one thing i would be a lot sicker without their love..sharing this sweetie and also concerned about the sister..loves Fozziemum xx
Poor Zoey, I hope she soon finds a home where she is appreciated.
