Mancat Monday: It’s Hot, Dang Hot

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it!
Dang, I just spotted the forecast from the weather guessers. They said it’s gonna be hot, darn hot fur sure.

Even though our weather guessers can’t tell you if it’s going to rain or storm, they do usually get close on the temp thing.  We’re going to be in the mid to high 90s this week. It’s not even officially Summer yet, so just wait until Summer gets here.  Dad is putting out extra water for the ferals too and he is making sure that the bird bath is plenty full. The birds need to cool down too and the bird bath seems to be the drinking spot of choice for the outside kitties.

Hey, there are sure some cool things coming up this week.  I got a box of goodies from some special friends, and I’ll show y’all of Thankful Thursday.  Of course Friday is International Box Day and Sunday is Father’s Day here in the United States.  Busy, busy, busy!

Have a fun week everyone and remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

That is very hot, indeed, Brian! It has been in the 90s once or twice this year so far here, and we’re hoping it doesn’t get that hot again any time soon. Stay cool, friends.

Yesterday our weather was like being in a sauna, thankfully, it is back to normal today. Even cat bro Bert was just lying around not even thinking about trouble!

  10. Ann Staub

Well I guess it’s a good thing you live indoors with that AC thingy Brian! You are lucky 🙂 Our weather guessers are predicting some sort of apocalyptic flooding storm for us (at least that’s what they make it sound like). I’m skeptical if they are going to be right or not.

  11. Kitties Blue

We also have the hots, and it is supposed to be here at least through next Sunday. I guess we are lucky as it is un the low 90s here. We don’t even want to be on the Catio, though. Dad just turned the fans up out there so maybe we will decide it is okay. We know that your daddy takes extra good care of you all, the ferals and a lot of other kitties out in the blogosphere. He is so generous and a real samaritan. Stay cool, friends. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

We love your ears, Mr. Brian! Yup, we double checked our weather forecast calendar, and it just says hots all over it. You guys stay cool. Hugs and love to you all.

  13. The OP Pack

Our temps aren’t that high yet, but it sure is humid and sticky here, with lots of heavy rain showers:( We want the sun, but not the heat.

We can’t wait for International Box Day – we know we will see some great posts!

    Woos – Ciara and Lightning

That is a lot of busy Brian!
We hope you stay cool during your hot spell. Tell your Papa he is kind to take care of the ferals. We know they appreciate it 🙂

Good that your Dad knows how to look out for wildlife and you kitties.
If it gets too hot, come to our place. We do not get hots in the 90s.
We have temps around 20C (68F) give or take a few degrees 🙂
July will be hotter, but it’s not too bad now 🙂

  18. Penelope

Wes are still pretty hot here, but NOT like last week, 90-100 is July weather not June weather!

Stay cool, Brian! Here, it’s in the 40’s and we have a fire in the fireplace. It’s goofy world, isn’t it?

  20. siku marie

We hope you all have nice cool spots in the house to nap and avoid the heat. My sister Storm like the best of both worlds…she lies under the swamp cooler vent but in a sunpuddle!

  21. Raven

Uck, heat! We have it here too and I’m not terribly fond of it. It means the windows stay closed and the cold A/C is on. Our birds like the bath too, but we’ve never seen a cat visit it, only a raccoon.
