Mancat Monday: Holidays Can Be Exhausting

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it!
Hello everyone! Well, it’s Monday again and I’m happy to report that our Dust Bunnies are all okay.  We all did our part to protect them from the loud and boomy noises, which by the way will continue to go on until most of the fireworks are used up.

That’s why we are a wee bit tired today.  It was a little difficult to get a good nights sleep with boomy season being here.  But, we are managing to catch up on our naps, even if that means snoozing more than normal during the day.  Yes, we actually can snooze more than normal if we set our minds to it.  We do miss some Bird-TV and Feral-TV, but sometimes rest is actually more important.

Anyways, we’re looking forward to the new week and we hope you all have a fun week planned too.  Now, it’s nap time!

Don’t forget to join us for the Opt to Adopt Blog Hop tomorrow, we have a handsome boy to share with you.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

I bet it was exhausting! We have more rules about fireworks here so it wasn’t as loud, but my human worked really hard to make sure the noises that DID happen did not bother me… she’s the one who’s exhausted, MOL!

We bet you all were exhausted from all the boomies. So lots of naps should be scheduled at your house. You all have a very restful day.

I am so sorry you were afraid of the boomies! I didn’t hide but Dakota barked his head off for practically 4 hours straight! Mom and Dad tried to make him feel better, but there were too many idiots setting off fireworks in their yards (they were LOUD and CLOSE), so there was nothing that they could do. I had a good holiday, but Dakota sure didn’t! Love, Cody

We are glad your dust bunnies are safe, MOL! Lita was *very* brave this year. She went under the bed for the fireworks but came right out again (she usually stays under there a long time when there are fireworks). We hope you all get a lot of great uninterrupted nap time today! Happy snoozing 🙂

  5. Madi and Mom

Mom tried to suck up every dust bunny in the house in prep for out company over the weekend. I’m happy to say she missed a few

Happy snoozing to all!!! It is fine here all day but once we hit the after dinner hour, Ciara goes into stress mode. We are due for some strong storms tonight which will put the damper on fireworks (YAY) but will stress her out for a different reason. Hope this all ends soon.

It’s amazing how little boomies go off when all the power is off in your neighborhood. Thank Cod we had very little noise this year.

Glad you have a fun week planned!
Yes, our kitties were under the bed with fireworks and thunder this weekend.

We sure do hope all the boomie-lovin’ people use up their fireworks soon because we’re having the same problem you are – too much noise at night and needing to nap longer during the day!

Glad you all made it through those loud fireworks display! They weren’t allowed to use fireworks on our July 1st Canada Day due to all the fires happening up North. Very dangerous stuff!
    Happy July kitties!

With all the nerve-wracking boomy commotion around here, I didn’t even think to check on my dust bunnies. I’m glad yours are all safe. I will go check on mine now.

Yeah, we had a bad time Caturday Night, but we were back to normal by Monday. TBT says we were lucky this year. Most years past, the neighbors set off boomers a couple nights before AND after the official boomer night, and no one did this time. Mebbe they moved away.
