Howdy everyone! Dang, where did that weekend go? It was here a few minutes ago and now it’s up and disappeared.
Hey, on Saturday Sister Sascha was telling y’all about some of the medicine antics that go on around these parts. I think maybe she gave you the wrong impression. Well, maybe she just didn’t tell you the whole story, and she is pretty good at doing that, or not doing that.
I am super good at taking my pills and liquid pain meds and Sisters Zoe and Dolly are both good at taking their meds too. We never fuss or fight, not at all. We’re not that good about being caught though. It’s a pretty fun game called Avoid the Two Leggers and we actually look forward to it.
All three of us are pretty good at figuring out the peeps first move and once it happens then the game is on. So, you see, it’s just a fun game. I didn’t want you to think we are difficult, we’re actually quite easy when it comes to taking our meds.
Now that I’ve set the record straight I’m off to have a Monday snoozy. Anyone care to join me?
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Thanks for clarifying that, Brian. You are kind in making sure that your people get some exercise and thus stay healthy!
Have a great week!
Purrs,
The Chans
Sparkle was like that, I hear – she always knew when she had to have meds or be spoon fed, and she always went in the opposite direction… but she always dealt with it nicely when she was caught. At least usually.
Brian i think that you are all just making sure that Mum and Dad get their daily exercise…it is super you have a great workout routine for them…don’t want them getting sick do you! Mol…paw pats Pickles xxxx
Well we all know we have to keep our 2 leggers in shape, that sounds like a fun game with lots of health benefits.
Oh we all know all about that game of chase. We love to make the Mom run around. It is good for these peeps to get some exercise. But glad you told us how good you are Brian. You all have a wonderful day.
We bet your Mom and Dad end up breathless with you three running around pretending you want to dodge having your medications.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
I’m thinking it’s a great day for a snooze too Brian! See you in dreamyland!
Hugs, Sammy
you guys are like my Angel Bobo! He was super good at figuring those things out too. Cody not only falls for it every time, he comes over to suffer the abuse!!! lol!
The chase before med time is the best fun!
Have a great week Brian.
That does sound like a fun game 🙂 Your folks are lucky to have such playful kitties.
That weekend is rapidly disappearing in my rear view mirror. 🙂
Our Gracie is very difficult to catch when it is time to take our kitties to the vet (Millie is not so difficult to catch). We have to act like nothing is going on and catch her by surprise.
Have a good snoozy, but I have computer work to do!
the chase is a part of it … so we can show our people that we are on the way to recovery :o)
Maggie could not care less about her meds. It is like throwing a pill into the Grand Canyon.Chloe Jo likes the game of Catch Me if You Can. I do. She runs the same path every time! ☺
Have a delicious week and a wonderful Monday!
=)
Nothing wrong with seeing who can avoid the two legged the longest

Brian
Back in January I had to have two kinds of eye drops twice a day. Mom was very worried I might bite her hand off. She thought she was fooling me by approaching me from the back with her hand behind her back..this kitty knew…but I didn’t seem to mind them which blew her mind
Hugs madi your bfff
Lita: I’ll gladly come over and have a snooze, Brian! Then the Mom won’t be able to grab me for medicine time, MOL!!!
Mom: Brian, please teach Milita how to take her medicine like you do. She likes to squirm and kick and run and hide. It is always a battle with her. Carmine is easier, but he really doesn’t like liquid medications.
Luckily my kitties don’t need any medicine right now, but if they do, Mom is good at giving it to them.
Mes happy that yous thinks its a game! That means yous don’t minds it! Mes don’t plays any games…
Mes just waits until they gets close and then mes all teeth and claws!
kisses
Nellie
Avoid the two leggers is the best game of all!!!! Wanted to let you know that Miss Rosie and Moo Shu (our two fabulous felines) are hosting their very first kitty only review and giveaway today. Hope you and your sisters will stop on by!
We knew it was a game you all had decided on!
I love to run with TW waddling after me. It’s a fun game and sometimes I take it so seriously, my tail gets all bushy.
It is always fun to keep the humans happy with games, Brian. We both just woke up with a long morning snooze – so HOT!!!
Woos – Ciara and Lightning
That sounds like fun. How long does it take the humans to get their hands on your paws?
That sounds like a fun way to give everyone some exercise 🙂 Weekends and summer are going way too fast!
Yes! We know that game very well too! What fun, huh? Have a great snooze!
Oh Brian we never fawt y’all was bad kitties. Mommy just dusn’t have da ability or da agility fur da chase. MOL Yous pawents awe in much better shape than our mommy. MOL Have a gweat day.
Luv ya’
Dezi and Lexi
Oh Brian!!
Reading this almost broke my heart. My darling fur baby was named Dolly. That is why my Facebook name is under Dolly…..
I’ve missed her every single moment for over 8 years now AND her brother Deeb. Both are forever cherished here at the Big Blue Barn….and because of that I haven’t been able to get another.
I can certainly understand all the meds and what goes on because of it….
However – I’m enjoying virtual hugs and softness via you! Thank You!!
We never thought you were difficult Brian, bet you have lots of fun giving those 2 leggers the run around, hehe.
Our cat brother could detect a micron of pill in the middle of an entire bowl of cat food.
Dip and Elliot x
Your parents should recognize that you like the game by now, no? MOL I understand trying to get away, but you’re awesome for taking your meds when they do get you!
I do the same Brian. I run around the table away from my mum, then I either wait for her to pick me up, or sometimes she taps the office chair and I jump up to have my meds.
Agarra-me se puder! hehehe
Parece divertido.
Good to hear that you kitties are OK with taking your meds.
Treasure is the difficult one here. When he plays”run from the human” he means it!
Mom always asks for meds that can go in food 😉
Lucky that he is not on any now 🙂
Good that you kitties are OK too!
Purrs Georgia and Julie,
Treasure and JJ
That’s a really fun game. We like the fun away game much more than the take your medicine game, actually.
We have to shake the treat package and then grab, hold and pop the pill –Freckle is on to us though and although he loves treats, its still a struggle a few days a week….he needs lessons from you guys.
hee hee! Brian, we love that you and your sisters will take your medicines but don’t want to be caught 😀 that is the cat way to do things, mol! have a great week!
(our mom says why can’t the weekends be five days and then work only two?)
pip, smidge, minnie, hollie
Ok mee bee rite over Brian! Can wee purrtend it iss still thee weekend??
An wee NEW youss’ were good taking yur meddycayshunss 😉
**Hi-5’SS** Siddhartha Henry =^,.^=
Brian, sometimes you just gotta make the humans work hard to get you to take your meds. We know all about that.
It sounds like the, ” Catch me if you can” game! Fun for the kitties ;p
the critters in the cottage xo
We wonder if your dad and mom find the game of Avoid the Two Leggers just as fun. 🙂
It’s good you’re all calm about your meds…once you’re caught, that is.
Thanks for stopping by, it’s appreciated. We do hope everyone is well and as healthy as possible. Purrs and peace.
M says we kitties are way smarter than most people give us credit for.
It doesn’t take long to catch on to the routine that means meds are on the way. Mom is happy that she only has Giulietta to give a pill to each day. Sometimes she is totally cooperative and other times she is NOT! XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
