As inside only rescue kitties, one of the things we’re most thankful for is having the option to be nice and comfy in so many places. We don’t have to sleep with one eye open. We don’t have to worry about a sneak attack. Well, my sisters sneak attack me sometimes, but that’s not the kind of attack I’m talking about.
But you know, it does my heart good when I look out the back door and see one of the feral kitties almost tummy up in one of the chairs. That means we’re giving them a chance to feel happy and relaxed, if only for a little while. We do know that the ferals are thankful that we’re trying to provide a bit of a safe haven for them in our back yard.
So, while we are always very thankful for the comforts of our inside home, we’re equally thankful for the many humans that try to provided a little comfort for the ferals. Take the time to help some feral kitties in need and you’ll be thankful too.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
You look very happy on that picture. Have a lovely Thursday.
We have one feral here that nobody likes because he sprays! My human really wants to trap him somehow, but he only shows up periodically and our neighbor has a bunch of outside kitties that would no doubt get caught in a trap before he would.
I want to cry.. it is so sad that so many cats aren’t lucky enough to have a home and family that loves them
We are so thankful that you Brian, and all your sisters have such a great home and we are especially glad that your Dad and Mom are taking care of your feral cats. Your family is the best Brian. Have a great day.
Thank you Bran, your family for helping those ferals have something better. xoxox
That sure is something to be thankful for. I wish all ferals were as lucky!
I’m with you… and I’m grateful that I have a home…. and I’m glad you are there to protect the ferals and you give them some comfy moments… we all need it and we deserve it :o)
This made me cry. I wish I could make them all feel safe and secure. It is an awful feeling to feel unsafe and unloved. They ask so little and give so much. ❤
Brian, you do indeed look comfy and secure. We have so much to be thankful for. The homeless kitty situation is heartbreaking. You guys are so wonderful to help the feral kitties. I love what McGuffy’s Reader above said.
I tend to love cats but have an allergy to some aspect of them. I have been adopted several times by outside cats, and it always makes me happy and sad that they are not protected at the same time. LeeAnna at not afraid of color
All of us on the CB are so lucky to have loving homes and families Brian. Mum has sponsored a pen at the Cats Protection League in the UK so people who want a cat or kitten can go and see them there and decide if there is one that will fit in with their cat/s. They always send us a picture when there is a cat who has been chosen by their new family and sometimes we get to see them together as they are going home.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
You sure know the ferals feel comfy when they can do that.
Your family is wonderful to do so much for the ferals, and it is obvious that you all have a great home!
Those are good things to be thankful for Brian.
Brian, your family is one of the most generous and caring we know. You look so adorable in this pix that our mom would like to be on the floor with you cuddling. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
We are thankful to have a nice cozy home, too! We are thankful that you all have such a wonderful home and that your humans help the feral kitties. We know they appreciate it.

It really must be a scary sad life as a feral cat!
We are thankful you care for those outside kitties. TW never sees the Maple kitties since they were fixed and got to go inside for the winter but she heaerd there are some new ones over in the other direction.
Brian, your family is kind. We are glad the feral cats get some respite from what is no doubt an otherwise difficult life, because of your family’s kindness.
We live right in the city and have never seen a homeless cat in our area. If we did, we know our Mama would help too, as thinking of them outside on their own is too much to bear!
