An Auction for Bootsie. Can you help?

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it!
Greetings everyone and welcome to Monday which is one of the most exciting days of the week.  NOT!  Oh well, what are you supposed to do?  Monday seems to show up each week.

Now, about that Blog Post Title.  We’re hoping it’s not the season, but this time of year is tough on cats with asthma. Poor Sister Gracie has had some asthma attacks lately and now she has some upper respiratory things going on.  We’ve got her on the medicines that helped get her through the terrible episode two years ago and we’re hoping it will kick this thing in the butt.  So please send some purrs, prayers, hugs and well wishes to Sister Gracie, she would sure appreciate them.

On another note, thanks to everyone pitching in to help Bootsie.  I know he appreciates all of the help and we sure do too.  Y’all are terrific!!!

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

We’ve been pretty lucky here as far as air quality and stuff goes although I heard that earlier this year, peeps with pollen allergies were having a rough time. Spring got kind of smushed together, you see, and all the pollen arrived at that same time.

Purrs,

It is allergy season, unfortunately. Our mom wakes up sneezing every morning. Hope Sister Gracie is doing okay. Oh, and we emailed Marjorie this morning about donating some crochet bow ties and flowers! We are excited to be able to help out for Bootsie.

Gracie sweetie, we sure hope that medicine helps you. M caught me coughing the other day too. A couple of years ago I was diagnosed (they think anyway) with Asthma. We talked about inhalers at that time, but the vet also suggested a Hippa Filter on our furnace. I’ve been fine ever since. That Hippa Filter seemed to handle it. I wonder if anyone has suggested that to you – if not, it might be worth investigating. I think you can even get portable ones for in the house if your heating/AC system isn’t one that can have that added.… Read more »

If you have ozone air purifiers, they can make asthma worse. We used to have those and they almost killed TW. That’s why there are ozone alerts with there’s a lot of pollution outside.

Gracie, we won’t say the allergy word if you don’t………if it bothers your asthma that means my skin allergies are gonna kick in! We’ll have NONE of that! Love, Cody

Oh darnitall, I am sure your asthma is no fun. We hope it will decide to go away again. We like the idea of a HEPA filter or airpurifier with one for you.
