Thankful Thursday: Thanks for All You Do

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it!

We always have so much to be thankful for, but then again most of us do.  We are really thankful when our wonderful community comes together to help a critter who would otherwise be helpless and hopeless.

For those of you following the story of Bootsie, thank you so very much for your donations and for your wonderful participation in the auction hosted by the wonderful DashKitten.com.  The auction participation was amazingly wonderful.  Bootsie still has a couple of more weeks before we know if he will need the TECA operation or not, so we might end up having to up the amount needed.  We have posted several updates  over at https://www.youcaring.com/bootsie-s-surgery-fund-404486.  If Bootsie ends up having the TECA surgery he will lose his ear.

Again, thanks to each and every one of you for sharing, caring, donating and participating in the auction.  You will indeed make a difference for dear Bootsie.

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

We hope Bootsie won’t need the surgery in the end and what Dr Capra has done for him will do the trick. We are glad he is in a foster home for now, and getting good care.

I’m glad the fund was a success and the auction was truly amazing……we were happy to play a very small part. Poor Bootsie – might have to lose his ear too? That’s just so very sad and we hope that won’t happen. Mostly we want dear Bootsie to have a very happy, and SECURE Forever home and to be in the best of health. Thanks for all you and so many others have done on his behalf Brian!

Love, Sammy (and Mom Pam)

We are so glad Bootsie has received so much help. The cat community is truly wonderful in the way we all do our best to help one another. I truly hope that Bootsie doesn’t have to lose his ear, but I know that if it comes to that, he will be okay in the end. Cats are so resilient and adaptable! Sending purrs <3

Brian,

It is You who needs the thanks, for letting us know about Bootsie so we can alleviate the suffering on one cat in great pain. We are ready to help as much as we can. Let’s hope Bootsie heals without the TECA – if not, we fight on!
