Opt to Adopt: Sweet Bitsy Cat Would Love a New Home – Greenville, SC

Bitsy is at Concerned Citizens for Animals in Greenville, SC:

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it!

Photo from Petfinder.com

Bitsy is a 6 years old rescue from a cat hoarder when she was young. No health issues or meds. Also good with other cats and dogs. Both Bitsy and her companion Willie were raised and lived with a German Shepard until she passed away a few months ago.

Owner is in his 80″s. Wife passed away a few years ago. His health is declining and he feels he can not give them the time and attention they need. Both were sweet and affectionate when I went over to feed while he was away.

You can see Bitsy on her Petfinder.com page: HERE.

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

I hope Bitsy finds a home soon – it is always sad when humans get too old and can’t take care of their kitties anymore.

It’s so sad when older folks can’t keep up anymore and the pets have to go. Good luck to Bitsy.

Hopefully Bitsy finds a new great home fast. Stinks when age and health catches up to any human.

An unfortunate situation…best wishes for Bitsy, and I will say something about her in one of the photos I upload to Flickr this evening.

Bitsy is very pretty. I hope she can find a nice home soon. I think it’s nice that her human is thinking of her best interest at least.

Bitsy is such a cute kitty. It’s sad her human can’t take care of her any more. It must be very hard for him to let her go — I hope she and Willie will find a new home soon xoxo

So many stories are just so sad, but it’s hardest on so many levels when an owner is aging and is either unable or passes away and the animal is left with no options. I hope Bitsy finds a good forever home very quickly.

Poor Bitsy, I hope she gets a true forever home soon.

Sometimes, Cats Herd You

Paws crossed that Bitsy can find a new family. It’s so hard for the cat and the cat’s human when aging separates them like that.

So sad when the humans can no longer able to care for their fur babies due to old age or physical decline.

What happened to Willie? It’s sad that on one paw, cats are great companionship for old people. On the other paw, the cats don’t have a very secure future.

I hope that they both find great homes. It’s sad that their owner has to give them up but it’s better that he recognize the need to do so than to neglect them.
