Hello everyone! We’re sure glad the weekend is over and, as most of you likely saw on the TV thingy, our State was hit pretty hard with a horrible bunch of flooding. We were lucky up our way. Although we had lots of rain, the heaviest rain didn’t come up over us like was originally predicted. Please send your purrs and prayers to those who are dealing with the aftermath. Our friends Truffle, Brulee and Mom Paula from Sweet Purrfections were right in the middle of the big mess in Columbia, SC and Marg from Marg’s Animals, just south of us, got a lot more that we did too.
Anyways, it’s time to announce the winner of our giveaway for the fantastic book, Cats on the Job.
We used Random.org to determine our winner, and that would be our good friend Meowmeowmans from Animal Shelter Volunteer Life. We will get this fantastic book headed that way soon. Thanks everyone for playing!
Please send purrs and prayers to dear Bootsie, he is suppose to have the TECA operation tomorrow, poor boy.

We are still in shock over the rain amounts in MidSC and Charleston.
The governor called it right a 1,000 year flood. Never in my wildest dreams would I have expected that kind of rain. What a nasty nasty system. Thank goodness Jaoquin stayed away.
