Thankful Thursday: Special Days Are Great Reminders

Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it

Special Days can be fun, at least most of them are, that’s why they are called special. Gotcha Days and Birthdays come to mind, especially since Sister Sascha just had two Gotcha Days MOL!.  Hey, we like any excuse to to celebrate, especially if there is nip or treats involved.

Tomorrow is National Feral Cat Day, and while we’re really not celebrating being feral, we love ours and feral caretakers everywhere.  We’re thankful to have the opportunity to bring attention to their plight.

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Feral cat day is very special around here since a lot of us are or used to be feral. We will be sure to give our Momma kitty some special treats. Thanks for reminding us. Have a great day.

Hi Brian, you look so cute there on your mat. Yes, National Feral Cat Day is a very important day. We wish there didn’t have to be one but are so thankful for your dad and others that take care of them.

Cute photo of you, Brian…it looks like you are having fun.

Our Millie was very young when we adopted her, and probably not truly feral, but she was born in the wild, and we understand the importance of helping feral kitties.

Thank you for taking care of feral kitties – they are just as precious as any other kitty and deserve to be loved and cared for. You do a lot to help them, and we really admire that. Our Mom wishes she could help some feral kitties – there are none in our downtown location. She is going to look and see what she can do to help.

Okay, what do we have to do to get two Gotcha Days? Can we opt for two birthdays too? No, never mind, we should vote for half as many birthdays so we age more slowly.

If more of us thought about it, we would find there are many more reasons to be thankful in our lives. We are also very thankful for all you do to help the feral kitties and the homeless ones too.

I don’t see many feral cats, but I guess my Peaches would be one if someone hadn’t recused her from death and taken her to a vet with a big heart.

Brian, this is a most adorable photo. The TNR/Rescue group Mom and Dad work with have a huge feral cat colony that they maintain. We are so thankful for people (like your dad) who do this. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

I am thankful for you and your family, and everyone who cares for the ferals.

Sometimes, Cats Herd You

National Feral Cat Day is such an important day for awareness of our feral cousins.

It is definitely fun to celebrate! I say that we break out the catnip just to celebrate life sometimes. 🙂 You are right – the people who take care of ferals are an amazing group of people. Hopefully, TNR groups will be able to help bring the number of feral cats to a reasonable level .

most of us here are formerly feral. tomorrow is a little more special for us since our mom has been getting involved and helping the ferals where she works. we think it is a pawsome day and opportunity to share and educate about community cats. purrs,

We know and love all our ferals even though there are way too many of them. Every time one colony gets spayed, another pops up. TW pumked out on feeding our latest colony cos a loudmouthed neighbor threatened to call the cops on her but she has donated food to the ones who are brave and still feed them.

It is a day worth mentioning… especially from wonderful humans like you who are such a great help to ferals 🙂

We still haven’t any special day for ferals…yet, Brian. I guess I have to introduce it to the Netherlands, to make it international, but for now we’re here to celebrate it with you 🙂 Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend 🙂 <3
