Yes, this was pretty much it. I was on the couch, laying on my favorite pink towel and I was watching the goings on in the other corner. It was a busy time fur sure.
Oh, what was busy. Well, Dad hauled down the great big box from upstairs and in that box was our Christmas Tree. Then Dad brought down lots of little boxes with the ornaments for the tree. Dad managed to get the tree up in pretty good time and then Mom had fun decorating the tree. While Mom was decorating the tree, Dad went outside and got our outside Christmas lights out.
So, our Christmas Tree is up and decorated and the outside lights are all set and automatically come on when it gets dark. We will share some pics of our tree later on, but at least it’s up and we’re ready for the season to begin.
That’s how I spent my weekend, how about you, what did you do over the weekend?
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Oh we’re so over the Christmas tree. We did sniff the ornaments when mom took them out today, but we got bored. The tree is up and lit and balls all shiny are hanging waiting for us to swat them.
We trust your humans had a wonderful Thanksgiving?
Oooh you lucky cats having the tree up so soon. Ours goes up mid-Dec IF Silver doesn’t jump on it. Mum said he did that once, she got four decorations on the tree that year (and we have heaps from the Metropolitan Mewseum New York – two each year a special treat) He was our decoration that year MOL!!!!
That’s sounds like WAY too much work. We slept through our holiday weekend. MOL!
I hope my human gets out the holiday decorations this year!
My mom did nothing ! She is buddhist but she bought some christmas stuff and look at me and does suspicious smile. Me doesn’t sure what she plans but…Smell Fishy !
Sounds like a perfect way to spend your weekend. My peeps talked about getting out the decorations but never managed to.
Sounds like a fun week end at your house and now you have a very pretty tree in your house. Are there any good ornaments near the bottom that you can bat around. You all have a good day and stay dry.
I wish I did more of what you did… I think I am still recovering from my journey…
Whew!! You had me nervous there for a second when I read the title! I am so glad the weekend was full of JOYOUS things!
xoxo
That’s sounds like a fun weekend. Our tree is up too. Have a great week.
We lounged about too, but there was no such fun in our view
Sounds like a great weekend! Having the tree ready to sleep under makes the season extra-special, doesn’t it? Who gets to sleep there first?
We still need to get the Mom to put up our tree. Hopefully hers will put it up soon. We can’t wait to see the pictures of your tree – we bet it is lovely! Thank you for sharing Carmine’s fundraiser!
Fazer a decoração de Natal é muito divertido, estou ansiosa para ver as fotos.

It’s too early for us. Yikes, I still have Halloween decorations out and missed T day. At this rate, it’ll be time for easter 🙂
Sounds good! Pop is decorating the room as we speak. The tree will come next weekend. Your Dad did have a busy weekend.
We worked on decorating most of the weekend too. Things are finally done, and now we are enjoying some fresh snow.

Awww, relaxing while watching the humans scurry about, working on this and that. Now, that is how we like relaxing! Your weekend sounds like it was the best!

Sounds like a great way to spend the weekend. I always help my mum put the tree up.
Good thing you got to relax Brian.
Sounds like a lot of hustle and bustle at your place.
Bet it looks very festive now 🙂
Purrs Georgia and Julie,
Treasure and JJ
We had a grey and gloomy weekend but no tree was being set up yet. I did get to be a lap kitty with my mom for most of the weekend though!
Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs, Spike William
Sounds like a fun way to spend the weekend. We got part of our outside stuff done and some boxes of decorations out, but no tree yet.
The best part of a Christmas tree is all the cat toys that are hung on it! MOL!
We did a lot of just hanging around all weekend as we had lots and lots of rain. We are pretty much decorated here too although it seems like Mom always finds one more box of goodies to put on display:)
Woos – Ciara and Lightning
Brian, you make the best snoopervisor! And thank you for your comment on my bro remembrance post. I appreciate it. 🙂
we spent the weekend like you, Brian! our mom almost did too but we made her get out and do some errands and stuff. no decorating here yet though. We bet your tree and lights are wondrous!
pip, smidgen, minnie, hollie, sharpie
The tree set up sounds lovely. And you look ready to enjoy it!♡
Guess you are very busy getting ready for Christmas. That can be tiring and worth an extra nap or three.
Oh Brian – we need you to come over and supervise us. Then maybe we would accomplish as much as your mom and dad! We spent the weekend in the desert and then drove all the waaaaaay home on Sunday night.
Sounds like you had a very relaxing weekend supervising the holiday decorations.
What a great way to spend the weekend, Brian. We did pretty much the same. Our big tree isn’t up yet…the mom put up the little one, though. The big one might go up next weekend. And of course, we’ll be there to help. 🙂
ahem…well, my pawrents finally bought another one of those ‘fake’ trees…Dad P is allergic. It has lights already on it, thankfully. I guess they will decorate with Cuzin Leo’s Dad Dave this coming weekend. Then we shall see how The Kid Sage does with her first ever Christmas Tree and ornaments
Wow! That sounds like some happenings in the corner! Busy humans at your place, we like your idea of snoozin on the pink towel!
Oh wow! MY mommy said our tree won’t go up for awhile yet! Something about being lazy! I think she means she is. Not ME! I’d do it in a heartbeat!
Brian you were a great help by keeping out of the way 🙂 We will probably put our decorations up next weekend. Our pawrents spent the weekend painting the front room. They are still at it! ;p
