Hello everyone! I hope you all made it through Halloween okay and didn’t have any encounters with rogue goblins! Ours was generally pretty quite, which is exactly the way we like it. I use to really like Halloween and would sit and watch the little ones come for treats. Then, a great big silver alien came to the door and really scared me. It was real I tell you, so no more door watching for me.
Anywho, thank you for all the nice comments about the trapping of one of Zelda’s kittens. We weren’t sure if it was a little boy or a little girl. Turns out Silver is a little boy. He has been neutered and is back home now. He was not at all happy about being in the trap or the carrier. We were concerned about a few things. How would he react when he came home and would Zelda accept him back or shun him?
When Dad opened the carrier door he really didn’t want to come out, he was scared. Finally, he took off like a shot and headed for the woods. Well, we were hoping he would run under the riding mower cover, since that is where he hides a lot, but he was used to going to the woods with his Mom. By the way, Mom Zelda saw the carrier coming back and she was up in the woods not all that far away.
Then, when it was time for their wet food dinner, here came Mom Zelda and Silver, he found his Mom and she was sure glad to see him. Mom Zelda, Silver and the other kitten had dinner together. Quite a few of the others were there too so it was quite the successful homecoming.
That’s the update on the little one. Have a fun week everyone! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Silver is adjusting! Isn’t that grand!
Hugs, Sammy
So glad Silver is home and back with his Mom. When I took Maggie away, not knowing she had kittens, and then I found them and got Mahoney and they were apart for at least two weeks and they remembered each other and are best friends.Cats are just amazing.

I haven’t been able to visit for a couple of weeks because my humans were away, but they are back now, so I am too.

I’m so glad you were able to bring Silver in! He will be a much happier kitty now that he is with you. There is nothing wrong with needing a little time to adjust. Hopefully soon you will bring in the others as well. 🙂
We just prought him back home, to his outside home. He is a wild one and would not do well inside. If only we could have gotten him sooner.
Imagino como Silver ficou contente em reencontrar a mãe!
That was a nice story:)
You are looking quite comfy today, Brian – very relaxed. Great to hear the good report on Silver – his Mom must have been happy to have him “home” again.
