Hello everyone! It’s quite an honor for me to do the first Sister Saturday of 2016. Today is also my Gotcha Day. Brian said I can be anywhere I want to be today. Anyways, as you can tell, I’m pretty high up in the cat tree. Who would have thought that little old me, a kitty that had her claws stolen early in life, would be the one to spend lots of time up here. Well, I love it bunches and have learned how to climb my way up!
Of course my Dad’s lap is my favorite spot in the whole wide world, but if Dad isn’t available, then this is the place for me. Oh, I did spend a little time under the Christmas Tree, usually around medicine time, but I didn’t spend nearly as much time under there like Brian, Gracie and Zoe did.
I’ve found that if I get way back here that Dad has a hard time reaching me at medicine time, especially if I curl up like a little ball. The bad news is that neither Dad and Mom forget about my meds, it usually just gets postponed for a while. Oh, in case you don’t know, I also have asthma so I get prednisolone once per day. Yes, that “once per day” can come any old time.
Okay, it’s time for me to curl up, look cute and take a Gotcha Day snooze. That way I’ll be ready for any extra treats that might come my way today. Have a fun, fun Saturday everyone.

Happy Gotcha Day to you! It is amazing what kitties without claws can do. Back years ago when it was normal to remove claws, Mom had a clawless cat. She was also an outdoor cat, normal for the time too. She was the best hunter ever, she climbed trees, attacked big dogs in “her” yard, it was amazing. It is still sad to think of the horror of removing claws, but humans did not know better way back then. You are lucky to have a great life now with a super fun cat tree to hang out in!
