Dang, just where did everything go? All that’s left if the Snowman Scratcher, a mousie and a couple of rattly balls! Well, that might be a slight exaggeration, but all the Christmas stuff isn’t here. It all happened on New Years Day. All the pretty stuff started disappearing piece by piece.
Even worse, the Christmas Tree is gone, all put away. Just where am I supposed to hide at medicine time. Oh, I need to tell you, the Christmas Tree did not go easily. It fought the Dad every step along the way. It needed to come apart so it could go back in the big box. But it didn’t want to come apart, it wanted to stay just like it was. Dad had quite the argument with it and there were quite a few HBO words involved, from Dad, not from the tree. Finally, the tree surrendered and went back upstairs to live with Sister Precious. Hopefully she will take good care of it.
I hope y’all have a most wonderful week and please stop by tomorrow to check out sweet Smokey, she’s searching for a home and your sharing could help. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Aw, it was nice while it lasted and now there’s room for new toys! We didn’t do any decorations this year.
Brian, you look so sad.
Our decorations are all gone too.
Oh well, at least the window ledges are clear again 😉

Brian, you look so sad for Christmas to have gone away!
Brian your face looks like my assistant’s face today. She has to go back to work today and is not so happy about it. Our decorations are still up, but I know they will disappear soon.
Brian darling boy, you look so sad there. Here’s a Tuxie kiss to make it ALL better. xxooxx
That is sad that your hiding place went away. I bet you can find another place to hide from the medicine taking. We hope you all have a great day and stay warm.
Our stuff disappeared too, but we know it will magically appear again one day. Love your snowman scratcher!
Have a great week.
lmao you are giving it quite the “don’t go” look. Nothing wrong with a few hbo words.
Yep, same dealio here Brian. Only our tree went peacefully requiring no HBO words.
I feel your pain Brian……first a tree appears once a year in our living room and hangs out there for a few weeks then WHAMMO it disappears again….only to reappear the next year. Very confusing…..and then there’s all those NEW toys we get – shouldn’t that be a year round thing? Sigh….humans are so tough to figure out!
Hugs, Sammy
Christmas is very cheery while it lasts!! Now we are all back to boring normal!! MOL
The Mom met some very nice ladies at PetSmart who keep their tree up until the day the Three Wise Men came… and then the Wise Men take the tree back with them… don’t know why.
Sounds like your tree wanted to stay out and let you hider under it… Poor tree doesn’t get a say in the matter…
-Annie May who likes trees and Lil Bear who knocks them down.
Agora você vai precisar de um novo esconderijo para a hora do medicamento!
Boa sorte Brian! hihihi
Our Mum even took all the Christmas cards down this morning!! How naughty is that?
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Aaaaaaw Brian ifin it never went away then it wuldn’t be as much fun when it comes out every year. Hope you find a new place to hide soon. And y’all have a wunnerful day.

Brian don’t you just had an ornery tree. Ours is always very hard to get apart at the bottom. I bet the peeps have put the toys away for a rainy day…which around these parts is often so never fear
Hugs Madi your bfff
Isn’t that what happens every year? the Christmas stuff goes away. If that tree ever does say anything, you be sure to let us know! 🙂
Don’t be sad Brian, it will be back towards the end of the year. My mum will be taking our decorations down tomorrow night.
We know Brian. It seems a bit bereft with out the decorations. Especially the tree which was all twinkly and lovely 🙁
Dip and Elliot x
Pssst…..tell Dad he could have kept that all out til after the Eastern Orthodox Christmas which is January 7 😉
How about that? A Jewish girl with that tidbit of info! Bwwwah!!
Mew mew mew yur tree iss a bit of a wrestler!!! An yur face says it all Brian!! Such B-I-G eyes….
**nose bumpsss** Siddhartha Henry xxxx
Yep, everything disappeared here too. The Christmas tree was really pretty to look at, but it was blocking two of our best window watch spots. So we are OK with it being dismantled until next year.
Have a great week.
Woos – Ciara and Lightning
Yep, we’re Catmas-free now too. 🙁
Gasp! There must be a Christmas Tree Thief running around. It’s a good thing we didn’t have a tree or he would have been here too.
HAH! I thought that shmousy was the snowman’s carrot nose. Your Dad should have at least waited till the 6th to take the tree down. Maybe that’s why it was fighting. The peeps always leave ours up until then only Fraser had different plans this year.
The same thing happened here, Brian. One day there was lots of stuff to play with…the next it was all gone.
Oh Brian, you look so sad. Maybe some festive decorations can come out for Valentine’s day.
Oh, Brian, you look so sad. But all the decorations and tree will be back before you know it!
TBT here: The way to put the artificial tree away is with a trash can and a trashbag in it. Shove the part of the tree into the bagged trash can and lift the bag and it folds up wonderfully! Bagged, you can squeeze the branches up. Learned that last year. Hope that helps.
Mom insists that all decorations stay up and all lights be lit through epiphany, which is tomorrow. We suspect our stuff will start coming down this weekend. The house always looks so drab afterwards. Hope you find a new place to hide at medicine time. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Brian what has your eyes so excite? I was very sad when my tree had to go away too *sigh*. Hope you find a new place to hide MOL!
