Mancat Monday: Where Did Everything Go?

34 Comments on Mancat Monday: Where Did Everything Go?

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it! Dang, just where did everything go?  All that’s left if the Snowman Scratcher, a mousie and a couple of rattly balls!  Well, that might be a slight exaggeration, but all the Christmas stuff isn’t here.  It all happened on New Years Day.  All the pretty stuff started disappearing piece by piece.

Even worse, the Christmas Tree is gone, all put away.  Just where am I supposed to hide at medicine time.  Oh, I need to tell you, the Christmas Tree did not go easily.  It fought the Dad every step along the way.  It needed to come apart so it could go back in the big box.  But it didn’t want to come apart, it wanted to stay just like it was.  Dad had quite the argument with it and there were quite a few HBO words involved, from Dad, not from the tree.  Finally, the tree surrendered and went back upstairs to live with Sister Precious.  Hopefully she will take good care of it.

I hope y’all have a most wonderful week and please stop by tomorrow to check out sweet Smokey, she’s searching for a home and your sharing could help.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Aw, it was nice while it lasted and now there’s room for new toys! We didn’t do any decorations this year.

That is sad that your hiding place went away. I bet you can find another place to hide from the medicine taking. We hope you all have a great day and stay warm.

I feel your pain Brian……first a tree appears once a year in our living room and hangs out there for a few weeks then WHAMMO it disappears again….only to reappear the next year. Very confusing…..and then there’s all those NEW toys we get – shouldn’t that be a year round thing? Sigh….humans are so tough to figure out!

Hugs, Sammy

The Mom met some very nice ladies at PetSmart who keep their tree up until the day the Three Wise Men came… and then the Wise Men take the tree back with them… don’t know why.

Sounds like your tree wanted to stay out and let you hider under it… Poor tree doesn’t get a say in the matter…

Yep, everything disappeared here too. The Christmas tree was really pretty to look at, but it was blocking two of our best window watch spots. So we are OK with it being dismantled until next year.

Have a great week.

Gasp! There must be a Christmas Tree Thief running around. It’s a good thing we didn’t have a tree or he would have been here too.

HAH! I thought that shmousy was the snowman’s carrot nose. Your Dad should have at least waited till the 6th to take the tree down. Maybe that’s why it was fighting. The peeps always leave ours up until then only Fraser had different plans this year.

The same thing happened here, Brian. One day there was lots of stuff to play with…the next it was all gone.

TBT here: The way to put the artificial tree away is with a trash can and a trashbag in it. Shove the part of the tree into the bagged trash can and lift the bag and it folds up wonderfully! Bagged, you can squeeze the branches up. Learned that last year. Hope that helps.

Mom insists that all decorations stay up and all lights be lit through epiphany, which is tomorrow. We suspect our stuff will start coming down this weekend. The house always looks so drab afterwards. Hope you find a new place to hide at medicine time. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
