Hello everyone! I hope your Monday is going okay, ours is pretty good, especially since there was some warm weather around n’ about. Maybe that groundhog got the message after all. We hope the warm is here to stay Anyways, I wanted to update you on a few things today.
First is Bootsie. I know you remember Bootsie, but I’m not sure if you remember or not, but Bootsie, on top of everything else, was diagnosed with Bowen’s Cancer and his nose wasn’t doing too good. Thanks to the generosity of so many of you, Bootsie was able to have some cancer treatment at the Vet school in Athens, GA.
Take a look at this nice clean and cancer-free Bootsie nose!!! Oh behalf of Bootsie and Jenna, we thank you all for making this possible. Bootsie still has other issues, but he is one happy kitty these days.
Hey, we’re not the only one enjoying the warmer weather around these parts. Guess what I saw when I looked out the window…
This is Daffy, our main daffodil, and the daffodils are putting in a pretty good appearance. Such a pretty sight in a sea of brown. If you aren’t from around these parts you wouldn’t know that our grass dies off in the winter. You can see some green starting to show up. But Daffy wasn’t willing to wait any longer. Nice to see you Daffy!
Have a great week everyone! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
We are so glad for Bootsie!
We are expecting plentiful sunpuddles all day and are planning to take full advantage of them!
Have a great Monday!
Purrs,
The Chans

All our love,
I’m so glad that Bootsie was able to get treatment! I’m purring for the rest of his issues.

We dont have ANNY daffodils yet! Lots of promises, but no flowers…
I’m so glad for Boots, he is a hero for chasing the big bad c away…I cross my paws that all other issues can be solved and that Boots wins efurry battle…
So glad to hear a Bootsie update. Also glad to hear that he is doing all right. Good for Jenna to take such good care of him. We have some daffys here too. It is so much fun when spring starts showing its head. You all have a great day. We love this warm weather.
We are so happy to see a cancer free Bootsie nose. What a wonderful way to start the week. We have daffodils blooming too, they are such cheerful flowers, they always make us smile. Happy Mancat Monday Brain. <3 Us
Greatest news of the day, thank you… Glad you have daffs to add that extra flourish… purrs Erin
Oh Brian! I’ve been wanting to ask about Bootsie but was almost afraid to and here you’ve updated us and it’s a “some good news” kind of update. I’m glad Bootsie’s nose is alright – I know he has other serious issues but it’s simply marvelous that his cancer on the nose isn’t one of those things. Makes me happy………and I know that seeing a daffodil – sign of Spring – makes all of YOU happy too! We expect to have snow later this week which is not making ANY of us happy I’m afraid!
Love, Sammy
So happy for Bootsie. Pretty flower. Have a wonderful week.
Less to mow if it dies off and takes its time to grow back. Awesome news for Bootsie indeed.
such great news about Bootsie!! Wonderful! Love your “Daffy” we are getting our winter in March….we have a few inches coming tomorrow……..no snow practically all season……when it is supposed to stop, ours STARTS!
OH Brian you’ve put a big smile on our faces. WE loved hearing about Bootsie!
Glad to hear the good news about Bootsie!
Hey, Brian, I’m sure there is no truth to the rumor that since 29 February is an extra day, and a Monday this year, 1 March will also be a Monday so that this week will have a real Monday. 😀
Sunpuddles are our constant companion but we hear from the ebil guy on tv that rain is coming. Well we NEED rain, but when rain comes the sunpuddles hide.
Purrs Bootsie.
Hooray for Bootsie! Are his ear issues cleared up too? When I saw the title and then saw the flower, I admit I thought the worst.
It’s wonderful Bootsie’s nose is cancer free. He sure looks beautiful!
And Daffy is beautiful, too. Happy Monday!
Great!!
Have a delicious weeK!
WOO HOO for Bootsie’s nose!! I remember he had many other health challenges, but this is such welcome news. I feared he had not survived. As long as he is well and comfy right now, can’t ask for much more. purrs

OMC! That’s great news about Bootsie! Thanks for sharing Daffy with all of us…since we have no flowers here yet. In fact, tomorrow we’re gonna get more snow. Yuck.
That is just the best news about Bootsie! Thanks for brightening up our day with that, Brian. 🙂
Daffy sure is pretty. Spring is springing!
Such great news about Bootsie! Good news is always a great way to start out a new week!
That is wonderful news about Bootsie!
Our daffodils have almost finished. They were early because we had such a mild winter. We even had some flowering in early January. Our grass is long and very green because as well as being mild, it has been very wet too. Our weather guessers yesterday said it has been the mildest winter on record.
Great news about Bootsie and thanks for sharing Daffy!
Happy to see that Bootsie is doing well.
Thanks for updating us on Bootsie. His nose looks great! What a wonderful thing! Is Jenna planning to make him a permanent member of her family? XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
