Hello everyone, I hope you had a terrific weekend, we did, but it was a bit rainy. There’s supposed to be more rain coming this week too. Okay, enough with the weather, let’s get on with the headline news.
As you might remember, we had another TNR round last week, two actually. The first round on Tuesday evening, the score was Cats 1 and Dad 0. Nobody even went near the traps. It was a bit windy and the newspaper in the bottom of the traps kept blowing up. Then came round 2 on Wednesday evening. Dad heard some meowing coming from one of the traps so we thought things were looking up.
Back when we started our TNR project well over a year ago, the neighbor cat Tiger was the first to go in the trap after the food. You guessed it, the meowing was coming from Tiger the neighbor cat. Apparently she’s a slow learner. So, the second night the score was Cats 1 and Dad 0. The two day total is Cats 2 and Dad 0. We were hoping to give it another go this week, but the rain might literally put a damper on our plans.
DANG! But that’s the way it goes. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Oh darn, what a bummer! I hope it doesn’t rain too much, and your human can get back to work with the TNRing!
Well at least it was the neighbor’s cat and not a possum or skunk. That has happened to the Mom when she did TNR. We hope for better luck next time.
Happy Easter Monday!
we cross our paws that your daddy’s score will not stay at “O”… maybe Tiger counts for 1/2?
It has just stopped raining here but we’re not volunteering to take your Dad’s place!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Ugh darn!! Better luck this week! It’s pouring here today too!
lol Tiger must find the food too hard to pass up.
Better luck next time!
Our weekend weather was an odd mix. Some sunniness, but some bad storms passed by us to the northwest last night.
We hope for better luck next time ! Purrs
The weather is putting a wrench in lots of plans this spring, it seems.
Espero que seu papai consiga virar o placar na próxima semana!
drat (though it did make mom laugh….sometimes the joy of catching is offset by the defeat of the cat who hasn’t learned their lesson)
Spring is for sure a busy time of year for felines!!
Hugs and purrs and thanks to your dad for his devotion
Madi your bfff
Bummer on the rain but we will cross our paws for success the next time. Hope that rain is short-lived. We have the potential for severe storms this week so Mom will be on Ciara watch again.

Hoped your Easter was fun!
We hope you can give the TNR another go this week. I think we may get more snow this week – I wish Spring would make its way here and stay for a while!
Hope you have better luck with the traps next time you put them out.

I hope your dad has better luck next time.
Sounds like your neighbor has figured out where the good meals are… inside the trap!
Oh you made us smile! Thank you. Poor tiger.
Brian, tell you dad your face is the sweetest cat ever OK?
Oh no! TW hadn’t seen any ferals aroound our parts for a few months so she donated all her extra food to PAWS. Wouldn’t you know, this week she saw a big orange tabby on the same block as the Maple Cats. He meowed when he saw her so she went into her bag for a can of food. By the time she opened it, she didn’t see him so she left it under the car. The next day the food was gone so she threw away the empty. On her way home, she saw orange tabby again. He meowed… Read more »
Darn! We hope your dad has better luck next time…and Tiger gets a little smarter.
Well, at least Tiger knows where the good food is. I hope your dad has better luck to come.
I hope your dad starts winning soon!!! And happy belated Easter to you, my friends!
Well, they say the third time’s the charm, so hopefully your dad will get a number up on the board. Good luck!
We can kind of see a little frustration in your face there, Brian 🙂 we sure hope your dad can score a win against the ferals and the weather Doesn’t put a damper on your project! Purrs,

Sounds like those ferals are out-smarting you. At least you haven’t caught any skunks, possums or raccoons. That’s what would happen here. Hope things pick up after the rain. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
