Tabby Tuesday: Sister Kit Steps Out

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it! Hello everyone, look where I am, in the living room and not shut up in the big bathroom!  I’m out, and I’m walking again!   I sure am happy to be out of jail and the others seem quite happy that things are back to normal.

It was sure rough for a while.  For a couple of weeks I couldn’t walk at all and there wasn’t any way I could even start to stand up.  My goodness did I hurt.  But the Mom and Dad took good care of me, and, as you can imagine, it was a lot of work.  My Brother and Sisters kept coming in peeking though the gate to check on me.  I could tell, they were really worried about me, especially Brian.  Thank goodness for pain meds!

I’ve been out and about for close to a week now and I want to thank each of your for all the purrs, prayers, POTP and well wishes.  I especially want to thank my Sister Zoe for helping to break me out of jail.  Yes, seriously, there was a jailbreak involved during my recovery.  You see, I was in no shape to try to jump over the gate.  However, Sister Zoe had a plan.  If I pushed on the gate at the same time she pulled on it from the other side then I would be free.  It worked too and after a few minutes we had that gate down.  That was my official announcement to the peeps that I was up and at it again.  Thanks Sis!

I’ve been everywhere, but I’m trying real hard not to hurt myself again.  The Dad says I have to take it slow and easy.  Well, I’ve got the slow part down, but I need to work on the easy thing.  I’ve even been back up in the top of the cat tree.

Y’all have a fun day, I sure will.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Oh Kit, we are so glad you are free again. BUT please be careful getting down out of that tree. We are doing a happy dance for you and so glad Sister Zoe helped you get out of there. Good job to both of you. Everyone take care.

Hey, maybe Hollywood will come knocking to turn the jailbreak into a movie!

Sister Kit you’re looking great! Just continue to take it easy – we older cats need to PACE ourselves…..we think we can do anything but our bodies aren’t too sure about that! If I can’t handle the stairs I just let Mom know and she carries me down……same on the coming up stuff – if I’ve got a problem I let Mom know and she fixes it. Humans are wonderful – so are sisters who help you escape from bathrooms! HAHAHA Take it easy Sister Kit………that’s my recommendation from one senior to another!

    Love, Sammy

Oh Sister Kit, I am so sorry that I didn’t know you had hurt yourself, but I am very glad you are improving. I am sending my belated purrs for a continuing recovery.
We are still on our blogging break, but mum said I could visit a few friends this evening. It’s her fault I didn’t know about you for not letting me visit before.
