We celebrated Mothers Day last Sunday and I spent a lot of time showing my Mom just how special she is to me, and to all of us. But that got me thinking. The Sisters do get a little worried when I start thinking MOL!
Anyways, I’ve learned a lot from my Mom and I think she is a very special teacher…
I learned that being a lap cat is a very special thing. I wasn’t a lap cat until the last year or so but I’ve been enjoying it and my Mom says she enjoys it too.
Making biscuits doesn’t necessarily have to involve flour. When I’m on or close to my Mom’s lap I am a mega-fluffer. Not only do I fluff with my front paws, but my back paws get going too. My Mom has learned that my claws, even though recently trimmed, grow back rather quickly.
My Mom has also taught be to be nice to others and to not judge other kitties just because they don’t look like you. After all, not every kitty can be a tabby. Love ya Mom!
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
We agree Brian, moms are special 🙂
They know how to give scritches and love us just the way we are.
We love our mum.

What a cute post! George is like that, too. I have to trim his nails weekly, as well as Chloe Jo’s. George does not use his, even when he jumps up on me (which is all of the time). Chloe JO, however, uses hers for everything! XO
Oh my Brian…you are late to the lap cat fraternity. BUT ain’t it grand? xox
You have a very special Mom, Brian!
Purrs,
The Chans
I just know your Mom absolutely loves hearing that you enjoy being a lap kitty….sometimes it takes us a while to appreciate the finer things in life (!!) and now that you’ve discovered it, you’ll probably stick with it! I started out as a major lap kitty, but as I got older I do less of the lap thing…..Mom misses it I know….but it’s hard for me to get up and down from her lap – she always picks me up to help but I don’t always “warn” her when I’m ready to get down and it hurts my legs… Read more »
you learnt super things from your mom… I so agree not all can look like we do, but nevertheless they can be friends :O)
You are so lucky to have a loving Mom and Dad Brian.
Count us among the humans who do have a proper appreciation of lap kitties!
Good lessons to learn. The making biscuits gets an ouch from Pat from time to time.
