Mancat Monday: My View of the Front

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it! Hey, I’m sure glad to be able to lay on the back of the couch again, seriously.  I was avoiding this area since the fireworks were going off over at the lake.  But I do like laying here and looking at what’s going on out front.  You never know what you’ll see out there.

I did see something strange though, and it was Dad.  He was out side power-washing the house.  I’m not sure what power-washing is, but maybe it means his tongue was going really fast.  I know one thing, it was a little noisy and there seemed to be water everywhere.  Dad was quite a hot mess when he came inside.  It looked like he forgot to power-wash himself off.

Now it’s nice and quiet and I can enjoy a nice sunpuddle.  If I get too warm I’ll head down and relax in the shade.  Hey, I know how to find the best spots since I’ve had lots of practice.  Have a fun week everyone!

Glad you are back in your spot Brian. Silly Dad power washing the house in this heat.
Our computer has to go to the doctor today, so we will be offline for a little while.
    You all stay cool.

Power washing does sound interesting. Our parents just acquired one and keep talking about power washing the deck. We will see what happens!

Nothing can take away your happy spot Brian. You look mighty cute with that pose. Hope your dad did not get too exhausted with all the power washing he did.

That power washing thing is noisy! We had that done a couple of weeks ago – I have to admit it was nice to have my front porch nice and clean though!

    Hugs, Sammy

Oh Meow Brian, power washin’ in this heat? Your daddy’s a brave man. But at least you got a nice comfy spot to lay in and watch. Stay cool and have a pawsum day.

We know what you mean about the fireworks. They were still going off in our neighborhood this weekend.

Mom Paula says to tell your dad when he’s finished with the power washing that he can come down to Lexington and do her house. MOL

You are lucky to be able to see out the front windows. Ours are too high and there is no nice sofa near them. Our Mom was wishing she had a power washer last week as she cleaned our deck floor – not a fun task at all.

it’s probably good your neighborhood has you back on watch, Brian 🙂 our mom thinks us strange for toasting in the window sunpuddles but we’ll move too if we get too hot. enjoy your week!

Brian-too bad there is no such thing as silent fireworks. I bet with the clean windows you can see them better now.

We were trying to imagine Dad Terry as a hot mess, and we figure he probably looks like our dad does when he comes in from mowing the lawn in the heat! That looks like a great spot, Brain. Enjoy. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

I am glad you got your spot back. Thankfully, no one here is afraid of fireworks or storms. In fact, Maggie and George love both. When a storm is coming, they head for the window seat. Enjoy your comfy spot! xo

We bet your house looks sparkly and brand new now Brian! You look very sweet lying there in your favourite spot 🙂
