Thankful Thursday: When Missing Feral Friends Return & Our Book Winner

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it! We do worry about our feral friends.  If any of you care for ferals, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about, and why I’m thankful today.

Our somewhat long time feral Zelda, the one it took forever to trap and spay, had been missing for over a week.  That wasn’t normal for Zelda.  Even though it may not be unusual for some ferals, Zelda had been a home body since she was spayed.  She had been here early in the morning for breakfast, here for dinner, and here for the late night meal.  We were very sad when she didn’t show, and didn’t show and didn’t show.

Well, she came back, and we’re most happy about that, and seriously thankful too.  Dad asked her where in the world she has been, but she wasn’t saying.  Dad went outside the other day to take a bag of garbage out back to the dumpster, and there she was, sitting there waiting for Dad, just like she used to do, every day.

So, today we’re thankful to have our Zelda back with us, and we’d be even more thankful if she sticks around this time.

Remember we were giving away the Tom Cox book, “Close Encounters of the Furred Kind”?  Congratulations to our winner.  Your book will be on the way too you soon.

We are so thankful that Zelda came back., She must have packed her little suitcase and taken a vacation for a week. Hope her traveling days are now over, so you don’;t have to worry about her. Yes, I can easily understand where even ferals become one of the family to the point where you would worry about them if their pattern changes and they disappear. Bless you for caring so much.

Hoooray! So glad she’s safe. TW has been missing Betty and Ramona the two Maple Cats. She’s hoping their caretakers moved and brought them along. Jamal will be back soon. His human finally found another place to live so he’ll be moving back with him.
