Thankful Thursday: New Things Are Fun Things

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it! No, this towel is not new, neither is the ottomancat I’m laying on.  But we did get some new things here and I’m resting up from all the activity.  Yes, it’s a lot of work, but it was sure fun.

What did we get new?  Oh, a couple of things, and you’ll see one of them on my T.G.I.F. post tomorrow.  The important part is that they came in boxes, really, really big boxes.  Boxes are always fun, but we’re really thankful when the boxes are super big.  Huge actually.

The funny part was that the Dad had to put one of them together.  No, he didn’t have to put the box together, it already came assembled.  The Dad had to put together what came in the box.  Believe me, that’s a challenge for the Dad and is always quite entertaining to watch.  We were a bit surprised, the Dad did better than he usually does and the thing went together pretty easily, even for the Dad.

We didn’t get to keep the super big boxes, but we’re thankful we had them for a little while.  What are you thankful for today?  Come on over to the Hop and let the world know.

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

When boxes are really big, #1 usually tries not to even bring them into the house, but we’ve had our share of good medium-sized boxes lately.

We are thankful that our #1 is home with us!

We can’t wait to see what came in the box! We had some big boxes when Mom and Dad had the kitchen disaster but they didn’t let us keep any of them…..spoil sports.

We’re thankful that we have lots of toys and our food bowl is always full. We’re also grateful that we have such a wonderful mom that loves us more than we could imagine we would ever be loved.

We cannot WAIT to see what came in the “super huge boxes”….we know of SOMETHING that comes in super huge boxes, but we are not sure if it is the same thing! Can’t wait to find out!!

Oh, we think your dad should have let you keep your boxes. He could have made a fort for you, but we suspect that something in at least one of those boxes was for you kitties. We know about the only thing around here that ever needs to be put together are cat trees. You look mighty handsome and comfy today, Brian.
