I’ve managed to re-conquer the big green flat egg again. I thought it would be wise to warm this thing up a bit, especially since October means colder weather for us. Actually, several of us have been warming up this thing.
I was really kidding a bit about October being eggciting. Well, it might be eggciting, but some of it is pretty scary. Yes, it’s the month of the spooky season and something the humans call trick or treat, which happens at the end of the month. I used to really like trick or treat and would watch the mini-humans come to the door looking all weird. Then, the aliens came, mixed right in with the mini-humans, and I saw them. There they were, aliens, real aliens, I saw, I ran, I hid.
So, maybe that does make October eggciting, especially since you never know what’s on the other side of the door. So, how about you, do you have an exciting month planned?
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
I do have an exciting month planned! I have some costumes, and I’m gonna wear them!
It looks like you have decided that green egg is an “on” object not a “go inside” object after all!
That does look like a comfy place for naps. Glad you claimed it back Brian. You all have a great day.
We are hoping for a non eggciting month will lots of rest.
We hope you have a wonderful day today Brian with lots of naps and cuddles.
october is sure egg-siding… we fortunately have a glass door so we can see the aliens or zombies before we open the door…if you ask me they are are scary… they scream like crazy and they eat MY treats…scandalous…
We have a busy month planned! LOTS going on in October!!
Those real aliens may go to the probe. That’s a good reason to run right there.
I think you need to call it egg over easy or something since it is so very flat!
October does have that scary last day of the month but I’m going to pretend it’s just another day…….I’ll ignore all the scary goblins that ring our doorbell and just peek at them around the corner……I’ll also be grateful that my hearing isn’t what it used to be so no scary noises DISTURB me! Hang in there – soon November and TURKEY will be here!
Hugs, Sammy
Life is a bit too eggsciting here with crazy Cricket!
Hope you make some nice meals with your big green egg.

We’re hoping for a snuggly October, free of trouble and drama. Then again, we’re living with our sister Tessa, who tried to surf down the bannister yet again this morning. *sigh*
Ummmmmm good question Brian.
I’ll get back to you with my answer!
Hugs madi your bfff
October is my favorite month. Love the colors and the weather is not hot or too cold. My little human sister has already decided that she is going to be a cat this year.
You look very handsum in da big green thing Brian. We don’t celevrate halloween here, but there’ll be purrlenty og exciting things happenin’ this month to keep us hoppin’. We just haven’t discovered them all yet. MOL Big hugs to you all.

We’re too old for excitement! 🙂
We’re very excited about October because we’re looking foward to seeing all of the leaves change color. And the breezes!
You saw aliens? MOUSES!
Did they give you any cheese? The moon is made of the stuff, you know.
Purrs,
Seville
It never hurts to stay on high alert all through the month of October!
We had aliens one year too. They ran all through the halls and scared both me and TW. She stopped inviting trick or treaters after that.
Parece que vocês vão ter um mês bem agitado e assustador.
Mantenham-se longe da porta!
Fall is my very favorite time of the year – everybody wants to cuddle as it gets colder. The hots are finally gone but the snow isn’t here yet. I wish it lasted longer!
xxoo
The only way it would be eggciiting around here would be if Jan threw eggs at us. Eggsciting would be watching her have to clean up the mess.
I can’t believe we’re already in October. Came up so fast that I’m not sure what we have planned for the month yet!
That egg needs to be scrambled, Brian. 🙂
It’s October ALREADY???
So far October has been good to me. Mom got out the fleecy blanket and I’ve been cozying up on it and making biscuits.
We don’t get trick or treaters, but we have lots of Halloween decorations.
We like October very much, especially the beautiful fall colors. We wish winter wasn’t right on its heels, though. 🙂
That spooky stuff does make October eggciting! We also hope to visit the desert but we need Shyla to stabilize before we do that.
What I think is eggciting is that lately I have discovered that I like scrambled eggs and deviled eggs. I never used to like the Human foods. What’s up do you think???
Second part of October is going to be exciting because both Claire and Momo are on holidays ! Purrs
Brian, we think your big green egg may need a heating pad for this coming winter. The wooly caterpillars are predicting a cold one. We don’t like all the doorbell ringing that comes with Halloween. When it is warm enough our humans will sit on the front porch to hand out treats. Maybe we’ll get lucky this year and they can do that. Have a nice snoozy on your egg. Hey…wait a minute…isn’t that what you were doing on the bench yesterday? XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
I am not sure yet, Brian, we have to get used of the cold for now 🙂 Pawkisses 🙂 <3

I’m definitely excited! I get to do a pregnancy costume this year! My kitties definitely do not enjoy wearing anything (unless it’s a cozy blanket on a cool night) so I think I’ll just be hiding treats around the house for their own trick or treating 😉
