Yes, we’re late. National Feral Cat Day was yesterday and we enjoyed reading so many wonderful posts. Honestly, I was a little irritated when Dad told me we were going to be late with our Feral Day Post. Y’all know how I feel about ferals and helping them is so important.
Well, Dad told me we were going to help some ferals and that even though our post would be a day late, everyone would understand. So what did we do to help some ferals? Actually, I should say what did we do to help out our ferals?
Yes, you guessed it, the Dad along with some friends from Concerned Citizens for Animals did another round of TNR. How did it go? Well, the photo was early on the first night and there were three more on night one and only one more on night two. All together eight were helped, four females and four males.
We had four late in the season kittens and a Mommy Cat. We managed to get two of the kittens, they checked out fine and will be forever home hunting with Kitten Action Team. The Mommy Cat and two remaining kittens have been elusive so far.
On a funny note, you may remember from previous posts that we trapped the silly neighbor cat three times. Guess who we got again? Yep, neighbor cat Tiger was trapped for the 4th time now. She is one silly girl. She didn’t even want out of the trap because there was food in there.
Ferals are important and are near and dear to our hearts. Please help them. That way…
Ferals like sweet Seal can get the help they need to make their lives just a wee bit better, and hopefully easier.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
It only makes sense that your human would be busy helping ferals, and that’s why your National Feral Cat Day post would be late. That’s the BEST reason to be late! MOL at Tiger – it sounds like she just wants the food and doesn’t care that she get’s locked up.
We were late too with our feral post. Soooooooooo glad that you caught so many feral cats. They are so much better and have better lives all fixed up. We sure do thank you for helping all those cats. Have a good day.
That is great you caught some indeed. The neighbor cat is sure a glutton for punishment or just food lol
Maybe you could give your dad a few extra purrs and head bonks to thank him for helping so many other cats … he deserves it!
Never to late for a wonderful PSA
Hugs madi your bfff
what’s better than to support our feral friends and to post later about the fabulous things you did to help them out….

Haha, someone must love food a lot!

Sorry, that was my stupid iPad that turned ferals into freaks. The auto correct has a mind of its own!

Acho que Tiger quer um pouco de atenção! hihi
Fico contente que o projeto foi um sucesso.
Your dad has the best excuse possible. That is very good news that he got your ferals fixed.
All the work you do with ferals is more important than posting on the exact day. Good for you guys!
I am so happy that so many were helped.
Thank your dad for all the help with ferals. We love ferals.
I think Tiger just likes a good meal and restful sleep in the crate LOL
That’s the best reason in the world to be late for Feral Cat Day! It makes me wish we were late. Doesn’t Tiger’s staff feed her?
Oh, you are just so good to those ferals – we hope they all do well. And that neighbor cat just might be trying to tell you that she wants to come to your house to live:)
Woos – Lightning and Misty
Paws up to your dad and the other humans that were able to help those feral cats!
pawsome post, Brian, and concats to your dad! what a way to celebrate Feral Cat Day 🙂 our mom celebrated in a similar fashion with some ferals at her workplace. she got a momma and her family. we’re thankful the kittens are in foster care and it isn’t here ;-/

purrs,
pip, smidgen, minnie, hollie
Hey, better late than never. And you were out there working with ferals, so I think that’s okay. Thank you for all that you do!
We are so happy you were able to do TNR for 8 ferals and that some of the kittens will be getting forever homes. They have been unable to trap Yin & Yang’s Mother, so she is still sadly having kittens. And our friend Tammy’s “Community Cat”at her house, just had 6 kittens. Poor Tammy wound up having to get a rabies shot after trying to take her to the vet to get spayed (she must have been already pg) because about 2 weeks later she had the kittens. Tammy will try again to get her spayed when the kittens… Read more »
