You’ll see a lot of Sister Dolly for the rest of the week, that’s because it’s her Gotcha Day today and I’m giving her a little extra blog time. Happy Gotcha Day Sis, you really are a special one. Since we have new readers, let’s do a quick recap of how Sister Dolly got gotcha’d.
For those who are new to our blog, please realize the power of social media when it comes to helping critters in need. That was the case with Sister Dolly. It all started when the Dad saw a retweet from someone in a way Southern state of a tweet from someone in a way Northern state. The tweet was about a kitty needing help in South Carolina. Dad asked where in South Carolina and the answer was Greenville, which is where we live.
If you’re new, you might want to take a minute to check out the two posts that started it all…
This kitty was with our Vet, who was not our Vet at the time, Dr. Anderson from the Cat Clinic. Remember Jenna, our rescue pal? Yes, she is the one who saved Dolly and that’s how we met Jenna.
So, always share the social media posts when a critter needs help. You just never know who might be reading, and it just takes one read at the right time to save a life.
