Sister Kit was warming up to Snuggle Season on Tuesday and I must say, she’s pretty wise. I’m thankful that we have the opportunity to be toasty warm when the weather turns colder. Unfortunately, there are way too many that don’t enjoy that luxury. That’s true regardless of species.
I’m thankful for those who work so hard to keep ferals warmer in the winter. But it’s not just ferals, there are many people who work hard to help keep homeless humans warm in winter too. Thank you all for sharing the warm and the warmth of your hearts with so many.
We’ve already started preparing for our ferals. We have a few shelters for them and they have a heated house for winter. Yes, they use it, at least it has been used every winter. We’re likely to be adding at least one more heated shelter along with a few more insulated shelters.
What are you thankful for today? Tell us and pile on in on the Blog Hop! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Early today at your bay. Keeping all warm is a big win indeed. Many aren’t lucky to have a roof over their head, makes us freeze just thinking about it.
I’m so glad your feral family has you to depend on for winter!
It is so nice of you to provide for the ferals during the winter months. The world needs more people like your humans sweetie. Thanks to you also for picking up the Thankful Thursday blog hop from PepiSmartDog. I’m so happy it will keep going. We don’t always participate, but appreciate having it available if we have something to talk about.
That’s so nice of you to help the ferals ! We know you help them year long, but it’s so important for them to have a warm place to be during winter. And that’s great you keep the blog hop going on ! Purrs
Hi Brian! We joined up for Thankful Thursday even though it’s our Thoroughly Poetic Thursday……Thursday is a BIGGIE around here! We are thankful for you and that you are keeping the hop hopping along!
Love, Sammy
That is so great that you take such good care of the feral kitties. We know they appreciate the good care. Those are some mighty lucky feral cats. You all have a great day.
We are thankful that you are giving the ferals a warm place to shelter, not only now, but always 🙂 Pawkisses for a Warm Thursday 🙂 <3

Sweet Kit, you look so happy. We’re thankful for you guys helping ferals and keeping them warm.

We are thankful for our warm cozy home, and for the people like your family that help those that are not blessed to have that. ♥
Thank you for doing so much for ferals and other kitties!
OOh, I want to see photos of your heated feral cat shelters! Ours are insulated, and filled with straw, and we’ve put a warming pad in (not plugged in yet!). I worry and fret, thinking the kitties aren’t protected enough. But I’m thinking like a human; I don’t have wall-to-wall fur, like the ferals do, and they have grown their winter coats already!
Thanks for sending the link. We’ve put a bit of plexiglass on The Cat Hotel; it’s a windbreak but a cat inside can still see out.
Kit, darling, we intend to be doing a whole lot of what you are doing this winter. We commend your humans for everything they do for the feral kitties! Thanks for taking over the hosting of this blog hop. We will do our best to join you each. week. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Yay for people who treat each other and other living creatures with love!
We are so furry thankful that you are able to keep a warm place for ferals coming on cold weather. Right now, we only have one feral to look after and he has a warm bed of straw in the lawn mower shed. Although we may need to replenish or replace it for this winter to get the summer bugs and all out of it…. Thank you Brian fur all your Mommy and Daddy do to loves you and your sisfurs and the outdoor kids who would not have a place to be warm and fed. Please keep Guero in… Read more »

What an adorable snuggle shot of you, Kit! We are so glad that you have a warm and cozy home to live in. We’re also so grateful that your humans are so kind and compassionate to the ferals, providing them with such wonderful help this winter (and every day!). There’s one semi-feral kitty and a couple of neighbor kitties in my neighborhood that I’ve set up a shelter for, and I hope that and the food I put out each day helps them stay comfortable this winter. We purr and pray every day for the feral and all outdoor kitties!

I’m thankful that there are kind people like you who care for feral colonies. And I’m thankful that formerly feral Mickey Mouser and Rufus the Red are safe indoors with us! (Mickey was a feral kitten, and Rufus was found living in a colony but he actually wasn’t feral).

It is important for the humans to remember that they can help keep those ferals warm as well as the many homeless humans. Thanks for the reminder.

We are thankful that we had nice sunshine today.
Sweet. xo
I hope to join in soon, too!
We are thankful for warm blankets and heating pads. We wish all cats and doggies had those things. And we are very thankful for friends like you that do so much to help all the animals.
Your ferals are lucky you’re looking after them.
I have more things to be thankful for than I can count but I will mention the fuzzy blankets that have appeared for winter.
TW used to donate lots of coats to NYC Cares before she ran out of coats. MOL! Your ferals picked the right place to hang.
What an adorably sweet photo!
Your ferals must be so grateful you are there to care for them.
