Want a Home Wednesday: Beautiful Roo Needs a Forever Home – Greenville, SC

Adopt Roo
Roo is in Greenville, SC.  We need to find the purrfect forever home for this beautiful, three-legged cat. Roo has had a bit of hard luck over the past few months. She somehow lost her home, and she and her kittens ended up in a feral colony off of Wade Hampton Blvd, a super busy and high traffic area. Two of her six kittens were killed crossing the street and then she was hit by a car. She went underground for about two weeks before returning to the colony. Our friend Crystal quickly determined that she had a broken jaw and the drag wound on her leg indicated severe nerve damage. Plus she had lost a good bit of weight.
Adopt Roo

Roo’s jaw was wired shut and has healed but her leg had to be amputated. Her jaw is a little crooked but she can eat just fine.  Fortunately, in addition to a gentle heart, Roo has a fighting spirit and has recovered beautifully.

Adopt Roo

She is running and jumping just like any young cat. Roo is extremely affectionate and enjoys being held. Roo will smother you to death with affection and it’s obvious that she had a home at one time.  Nothing stops her from loving and wanting to be loved.

Adopt Roo

If you can provide an indoor forever home or know of anyone who could, please have them contact me and I will put them in touch with her caretaker.  You can email me at brian (at) brianshomeblog (dot) com. This special little ladycat needs our help, so please share, share, share.  We will gladly work to arrange transportation within a reasonable distance.

Oh, Roo. I wish I were there. We took in a cat who went through this! Echo lost a leg, too. And then later her granddaughter, Chanel, was also hit and dragged by a car. They both became members of our house. Prayers for your special home, Roo. You deserve it.

  7. Kitties Blue

Roo is gorgeous. She surely has used up a couple of her lives and deserves to live the remainder of them in a loving forever home. We’ll be praying for her. Such a sweetie! XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
