I don’t have to tell you that this past week was super tough in Blogville with so many dear friends departing for the Bridge. Y’all know how tough it is and it just is so terribly sad. Here we are though, back at Monday and another week starting up.
Friends, we have to do what we do best. We have to help our peeps get with the program. Our pals who departed would expect no less from us. They were quite happy critters which is why we were drawn to them in the first place. They would expect us to be the happy selves we were before they departed, they would say it’s important. Our special friends were always there offering comfort for others, so now it’s our turn to carry on the important work.
Let’s lift those up from the sadness and help their hearts to smile again. Oh, I know it’s a daunting task, but together we can do this, we must. Love y’all super bunches. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
It’s a hard job, but we kitties are up for it!
You are right, Brian. t is because they were so loved that they will be so missed. We have been witnessing how worried our #1 has been with Tama’s illness, and are just purring and purring to make her feel better.
Purrs,
The Chans
That is such a good idea. We sure are sad about all the losses and we all just need to keep going and find some happy things to be thankful for at the moment. You all have a great day.
So many indeed, never easy when any loss takes seed. But lift up we must do at every zoo.
You are absolutely right. Our friends who have passed would not want us to feel sad.
We agree Brian.
While we are sad Treasure is gone, we are happy knowing he had a happy life.
He knew he was loved and he enjoyed his life.
Now,at the Bridge, he is young again and healthy 🙂
We miss him,but we have our memories.

Brian, you are right. Mom felt tears forming again she said when she started reading the message here but she stopped that with knowing we should do as we are expected to do…carry them in our hearts with us as we move ahead. XXX
Was a hard week but; trying to remember all the wonderful things about them.
You are sooooooooooooooo right!!! WE MUST!! You are one WISE kitty! xoxo
That is very true Brian. It’s hard for those who are left behind but we have to make the most of life.

Sensible advice, Brian!
Good points, Brian. There are so many furry friends here giving us love that we can’t stay in a funk for too long.
Here’s to a much happier week for all!!

Grief takes time and reminds us what a treasure life is. Hopefully everyone has comfort in knowing that they did the best they could for their pet during their lifetime.
We sure are trying, Brian!
If’n folks don’t smile or laugh at most post today, there’s really no hope for them.
Wise words, Brian.
You are so, so right, Brian. It’s been tough, but the good memories of our sweet friends will live forever. Here’s hoping and wishing for some smiles this week.
