Dear Diary, today is day eighty-eight of my captivity and I’ve yet to discover a way out. My co-captor is no help and he keeps changing his name to protect the innocent.
I’m really just kidding. Hello everyone, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Seal, but I’ve heard that lots of you already know that. Simon, aka Five, and I were captured on October 11th and came to our new old place on October 15th. Since that time we’ve been trying to get used to life on the inside. Sometimes it’s been a challenge, but I’m getting the hang of it.
You all now know that my Brother Simon has a nickname of Five. You may not know that I had a nickname for a while, but I haven’t been called by it for a while. My nickname was HissyFace. Oh yes, whenever one of the human giants would get close I’d hiss and hiss. The Dad human giant just looked at me and said nice teeth. So, I hissed again.
Now though, for the most part, those hissy days are behind me. Life on the inside is becoming normal and good. I like not being wet when it rains and it’s very comfortable in here. I do now love being petted and I am growing quite fond of belly rubs. Guess what else I like? I like sleeping between my Dad’s legs at night.
That’s what I’ve been up to here on the inside. I’m going to try to not go on and on like Simon did. Let’s just say I’ll see you soon. It’s very nice to meet you.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Nice to officially meet you finally, Seal! It sounds like you are really getting used to the good life.
Seal, it’s great to meet you officially. May we start by saying that you are one beautiful girl! We can sort of understand that you were scared at first and felt you had to hiss, but we are so glad those days are behind you. You know what? That’s a pretty awesome family you’ve ended up with!
Purrs,
The Chans
Nice to meet you Seal, and to hear you’re enjoying the good life,xx Speedy
Miss Seal
Your nickname tells me ” Be very very nice to you ” … MOL
Nice to meet you =^x^=
Seal, so good to see you and so glad you are adjusting to living inside. Lots us would hiss like crazy when we first moved into the house. You sure are a pretty gal. Glad you made good friends with the Dad.
Did you all get snow??? We didn’ get any. Now all we have to worry about is ice. You all have a good week end.
Sister Seal, it is wonderful to make your acquaintance and learn more about how you are and what your experience is and was, like. You and Simon could not be more fortunate and I think you two know that now. Have you made face to face head-bonking acquaintance with your new fur family?
Pleased to meet you Seal 🙂
We agree that life on the inside is good.
WE think you will enjoy your new home as there are lots of really nice kitties there.
Nice humans too 🙂
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
Hello Seal, we think hissy face is a cute nickname, but we are glad you like being inside and don’t hiss anymore. It is very nice to meet you.
Oh Seal, what a beauty you are. It’s so nice to meet you. I probably don’t need to tell you this, but you really chose a good family to live with. You got the very best.
WOW, it sounds like sister Seal (AKA HissyFace) has made a ton of progress. Keep up the good work Seal.
You are absolutely stunning. Do you talk a lot? Mom had a kitty that had some of your likeness who was always talking.
haha good that Hissyface took a backseat and you are enjoying life on the inside now.
Seal…hissyface….that is too funny. My dad calls mom Ceal (her name is Cecilia) as far as I know he has never called her hissyface though. MOLMOL I’m glad to hear you have let go of that name and are learning to accept how very fortunate you are to be inside out of the horrid weather. We have sleet today and so very cold 9 here tonight
Hugs madi your bfff

Wow, you are a beautiful girl, Seal. It’s hard to believe that you once were a HissyFace. I must say you made pretty good progress adjusting to your new life.
Wonderful to meet you –you are a gorgeous kitty! So lucky to have your brother Simon–as Zulu can tell you life is better with a bro! Look forward to hearing more about your adventures! And don’t you worry–Amarula had a struggle adjusting to life as a non-feral kitty but she has never been happier (though she would never admit it!) In fact I think she is even happy to have brothers like Zulu and Frodo but don’t tell her I said that!
Hello Seal. It’s good to hear you’re settling into your indoor life and finding it enjoyable. I’m looking forward to seeing more of you.
Seal we are so glad you are growing happier and happier by the day!
Nice to meet you Seal, we’re glad to hear you’re enjoying life inside. Purrs

You must be a very smart kitty, Sister Seal. It didn’t take you long to realize that there was no need to be hissy in that wonderful home you have now.

Very nice to meet you. Great job on your first official post.
Hi Seal. Nice to meet you. We’re glad you’re learning to like life on the inside. It really is the best place to be. Oh, and Zoey thought she was the only one with the nickname of HissyFace. 😉
ice to meet you too Hissyface, I mean Seal. When I started reading this, I thought you were a sistah! A true rebel like myself. I love being indoors but haven’t entirely warmed to the humans yet.
Hiya Seal! It’s so nice to meet you, and we are happy you’re getting to love the good (inside) life! 🙂
You are a really beautiful girl, Seal! We bet Hissyface fades into the distant past as you become more and more comfortable with life on the “inside”. It sounds as though you are already really happy now 🙂

Sister Seal, you are a cutie Pie! I am so happy you are safe and well.
Aren’t you the pretty girly! And so loquacious too! Welcome to the Cat Blogosphere, and more importantly to your new home. You’re a very lucky girl to be living with Brian, Simon and all your new sisfurs.
What a beauty. We can’t believe we missed you coming inside to this wonderful home.
Welcome to the family Seal, You look an exceptionall fine young lady cat!
so nice to formally meet you… YOu scored the human giant jackpot
Seal – so glad you’re adjusting to life in a home. And you wound up in a pawsome home! I started out feral, so I know how horrible it is being in the rain and cold. Being inside (and spoiled rotten) is much better.
