Happy Gotcha Day Sister Kit! We’re so glad Sister Kit is part of our family, she is so sweet and gentle. She totally enjoyed the Nip Nanner she got for Christmas and it was fun to see her playing like a kitten.
For those of you new to our blog, Sister Kit was rescued by our Mom. Poor Sister Kit, declawed and all, was put outside and left behind when her family up and moved away without her. She was scared, outside, and left to fend for herself. Fortunately that was where our Grandma, our Mom’s Mom, lived and when the Mom figured it out she began the process of gaining her trust in order to capture her.
Poor Kit was so flea infested she chewed off part of her lower lip. Sister Kit was adopted by our Grandma and even moved with her to an assisted living facility. When our Grandma went to heaven Sister Kit came to live with us and became an immediate part of our family. It’s funny, Sister Kit used to be so afraid of the Dad, we suspect because a male human was mean to her. Now though, she is totally in love with the Dad and spends time close to him whenever possible.
Sister Kit is our oldest kitty, we don’t know how old, but all Vets agree, she’s a senior gal. Dad said we need to count the rings on her tail to see how old she is fur sure. Happy Gotcha Day Sister Kit, we all love you so very much.
