Okay, you know what day it is, right? Of course you do, it’s Friday. One of the first things I do on this day is to give a great big welcome to Friday. Maybe it would be easier if I got a special welcome mat for Friday, but I’d have to hide it the rest of the week or I would really confuse Friday. Well, just forget I said all that, now I’m confused, but it’s not the first time.
Did you notice I used the word first several times? Were you the first one to notice that? Actually, first is part of my T.G.I.F. for today. You see, Sister Seal was trying to teach Brother Simon to drink from the faucet in the bathroom sink. Poor Brother Simon kept sticking his head under the faucet. The lesson of the T.G.I.F. for today is Tongue Goes In First!
Sister Seal was a very good teacher too. Actually, none of us here ever drank from a faucet before so it was a good lesson for all of us. Thanks Sis! What about you, are you a faucet drinker or do you prefer a bowl or fountain?
Sister Sascha will be here tomorrow, if I can wake her up. She’s been doing a lot of running lately. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
The only one here who does any faucet drinking is Binga, and she knows the tongue rule.
That’s so cute! The only cat I can remember even being interested in the faucet wanted to play with the stream more than drink from it. And it was most definitely NOT Orbit. He hated water for anything other than drinking.
Seal , you are quite good at drinking out of the faucet. Well done. You all have a wonderful day and enjoy this great weather. Hope the feral cats are enjoying it.
Blog eat comments now?
Weird, ate first one. We drank from the faucet too, but hate fountains, go figure. Good she can teach away.
wow that’s impressing… can you show me that trick please? I would love to have some drinks that way :o)
LOVE the upsidedown head drinking! Too cute! Star used to drink from the sink, but we had to have it at a trickle and she’d drink the tiny pool at the bottom before it went down the drain. We didn’t always get it right and her feet would get wet, so we moved to a big tall glass that became hers. We still keep one there because now Leo has gotten into the habit too. So not quite the same, but still super fresh water right at the sink!
Ela é adorável!
Entre a fonte e a torneira, com certeza a torneira ganha. hihi
do you know I never drink water from the faucet? Come to think of it, Mom said she doesn’t think Grandpa Bobo ever did either!
Seal I am a faucet drinker but I don’t thin I have ever been seen drinking it upside down…that takes talent
I also love my water fountain
Hugs madi your bfff

Oh, Seal … you melt our hearts every single time. And you are a very smart girl. I’ve never shared a life with a cat that liked to drink from the faucet … but Bear Cat doesn’t mind getting wet as long as he makes the choice to 😉
I have two that like the faucet. The others like their fountain. Have a great day.
Our kitty Sophie is a faucet, and fountain drinker too. Very nice Seal!
Well done Seal!
She looks like she is enjoying that.

How about that, Brian…just when all of you thought you knew all the cat tricks out there, now Seal comes along to teach you all something new! Way to go, Seal!
Seal is a smartie. Once in a while Phoebe has a faucet drink, but she is the only one.
That is an adorable photo! Our Mom says don’t even get us started on drinking from the fountains…. er, we mean, faucets. We’re BIG faucet connoisseurs around here.
Seal, you’re quite the professional at faucet drinking! Neither kitty here does that, preferring their bowls. Our kitty Simba loved to drink from the faucet. You’re such a good teacher!
Thanks for the laugh today Brian. Mario here: I don’t dirnk out of the sink, but I do sit in the sink until someone (looking at M) fills it with nice cold water. i love my drinking fountain too, but sometimes a fellow juat wants a cold drink from the sink!
Sister Seal, that is a very interesting way to get a drink. Tongue in first AND upside down:0
Woos – Lightning and Misty
I will see you here tomorrow Sister Sascha
You are a good teacher, Seal. If I drink indoors I will only drink from the bath tap which is left slowly trickling for me. My favourite water is rain water from the bird bath though.
Sister Seal is a professional!! Sam loved to drink out of faucets, but since she doesn’t get around as much as she used to, we got her a fountain to satisfy her need for running water!
Good lesson ! I drink from the faucet too. Purrs, Zorro
I never tried faucet or fountain – I was a bowl boy……Teddy is a bit more adventurous though and MIGHT like the faucet – he’s been experimenting with bathroom counter surfing so we’ll give it a try!
Hugs, Angel Sam
Very cute! Now if she could only turn it off…
Aaaaaaaaaaw Seal sure is purretty. And so talented too. Sis Lexi used to luv to drink from da faucet, but mommy hated it. Da water in our town is not fit fur consumption without a filter. Dat’s purr da town council. They’ve been ordered to fix it fur years now and collectin’ taxes fur dat very thing. They just never get ’round to it and use da tax money fur other things. makes us a bit angry, but what are ya’ gonna do? Anyways, we like out fountains since mommy won’t let us have faucet water. Big hugs fur all.… Read more »
What a great photo, and what a great feat catching the water like that with the tongue. My kitty sister Sabrina has to learn that. She likes her drinking water fresh and before anybody else steals a taste.
Seal – you are smart and patient to try to teach your bro! Good for you
no faucet drinkers here, but only because TKS hasn’t learned about it yet. BUT, she doesn’t even drink out of my way cool fountain, she prefers her water still from a none moving bowl.
I don’t drink water. Faith was a huge faucet drinker. She’d jump on the sink 20 times a day.
We’ve never drank directly from the faucet either. Can Seal come and give us a lesson?
Our Georgia used to drink from the tap.
Now, she likes being the first to drink from a freshly filled bowl 🙂
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
She’s a quick learner – how cool is that.
Very cute photo! Our Gracie still likes to drink from the tap.
Maggie loves drinking from the sink. She thinks it’s special. Or that she is.
