Tabby Tuesday: The Fine In the Recline

Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!Hello everyone, it’s me Simon on Tabby Tuesday.  I’ve been enjoying the big red recliner, it’s fun being out in the rest of the house.  I heard this recliner is pretty much reserved seating.  I sure was nice of someone to save it for me. Rumor has it that this is one of the top spots to take it easy, maybe I’ll give that a try one of these days.

Oh, in case you were wondering, the hissing hasn’t been too bad as long as I don’t go charging up to the others.  Well, that blond gal still hisses when I come in the room, but the others only hiss if I approach too quickly. INCOMING!  I do enjoy being out with everyone else, even if they do yell at me from time to time.

I’ll see you soon!  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

You must have gotten up early to get that chair Simon 😉
Good too that you are learning the ways of your siblings.
Soon, they will not run away or hiss at you 😉

Simon, the others are probably just not used to all your kitten energy! I know that I annoyed Binga at first (but then, she annoys easily!).

  7. The OP Pack

Somehow, Simon, we don’t see you having a lot of down time for taking that easy on the recliner – we bet you are a lot like Misty, always busy finding something to do.

Hi Simon! You’re learning quickly that to get the NO HISS you WALK SLOW……!! You look pretty darn comfy up on that chair – lucky you for snagging a seat there before anyone else could!

  9. Pretinha

Simon, parece que você já está se sentindo em casa, isso é muito legal.
Tenha paciência com seus novos irmãos, eles não lembram mais como
é ser um filhote cheio de energia. hihi

I’m so glad to hear that you are adjusting well, Simon! You look really comfy on the recliner. Don’t worry about the hissy kitties, it can take some kitties a little longer to get used to new friends. Change is tough! You are doing great. 🙂

  11. Deziz World

Meowllo Simon. I’s totally know what you mean. Sis Dezi gets down right angry when I’s jump out at her from no where. She hisses and carries on and yells fur mommy. You know, da whole bit. I’s think they’re tryin’ to get us in trouble or somethin’. Maybe stick us back in solitary confinement. Fank catness out pawrents seem to be too smawrt fur them, and we get to keep runnin’ ’round freely. Hope you have fun. Dat does look like a purretty comfy chair. Big huggies fur all.

That looks mighty comfy, Simon! We’re guessing you’re not too into the whole relaxing thing yet, but you’ll learn. Don’t worry about the hissing, sometimes it just goes with the territory of being a younger sibling!

  13. Nellie

Simon darling, mes would hiss at yous too. Its how us older cats teaches yous younger cats manners!
Soon, yous will learn what the “no go” zone is for each of the others and they won’t hiss at yous anymore.
Mes is not feeling much better, but mes decided to dictate my comments to Mommy to lets my furrends knows mes loves them.
    Sending yous all kisses
    Nellie

  14. Elliot and Cricket

    That blond gal, BOL!
We are sure all the hissing will stop soon when they realise you just want to play. You look very settled on the recliner.

Simon, we can relate. Cooper can get a bit exuberant at times. The look on your face here suggests you are plotting something. MOL. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angela Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy.

Simon, I am still hissing and snarling at The Kid Sage if she gets too close to me or tries to jump around to play with me. Now that is just my problem because I don’t know how to play with another cat. Not sure that’s so true of your new fur family , so why not ask them?? Can’t hurt can it?

  17. LP

Simon, you are such a cutie! We bet everyone will be in love with you in no time at all 🙂
