Thankful Thursday Blog Hop: The Scoop Is In the Bag

Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!

One of the things we’re most thankful for is our peeps do tend to our needs on a daily basis. Actually, they often tend to our needs on an hourly, if not minute by minute basis MOL! Case in point, our recent delivery from Chewy. Like lots of you, we buy tons of stuff from Chewy and you also know their boxes are always fun, especially when they are empty. Most of you with multi-cat households know how busy we can keep the peeps. Now with 9 of us our peeps are busier than they have been.

Anyways, back to my story. Our peeps have what they call their No Pass Rule when it comes to our litter boxes. What is the No Pass Rule? I’m glad you asked. The rule comes into play whenever one of the peeps passes a litter box, and it means they don’t walk past it without scooping if scooping is needed. You can imagine the 9 of us keep them on their toes. So, what’s in my Chewy box today? That would be Litter Genie refills. We love the Litter Genie and have several of them at key places next to the litter box areas. Our servants, I mean our peeps, wouldn’t be without them and we’re all glad it keeps them happy.

I’m so thankful to have a home where the service is top notch and the litter boxes are always clean. What are you thankful for today? Tell me in the comments and join our Blog Hop please!

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

We’re thankful that as much as our mom loves cats and wants millions there are only 4 of us. The most she ever had at once was when she first rescued William and his mom…and she gave birth to 3 babies, making 7 in the apartment! Mom tells us that was just a bit too much, especially when the baby William thought his even more-baby siblings were toys!

Wow. You have top-notch service at your place. Occasionally my box is tended to immediately, but usually it’s only morning, evening, and night.

  3. easyweimaraner

that is a super rule… and very impawtant… I agree :o) and I bet the litter Genie is happy, because it has a job at casa brian what’s crisis-proof ;O)))

  4. Fur Everywhere

Hi Brian! We need to go and see what a Litter Genie is exactly – we have heard of them but don’t know what they are, MOL! We are thankful to have a human around most of the time so we get to but the Mom for whatever we want and need just about any time. 🙂

  5. Mark's Mews

Your’s are cleaner than ours then. TBT makes sure to keep ours (4 boxes fer the 3 of us) cleaned every day. But we get outside and do some “business” out there too. So mebbe it werks out about the same.

  6. Pooh and Her Pooch

Since I am the only cat and Chancy don’t use a litter pan Mumsy does pretty good keeping my box clean. I think getting a litter genie would be a great idea though. Sweet Brian, all of you kitties are so lucky to have such sweet, caring parents. Have fun in the Chewy box…we have lots of those at our pace. Hugs and nose kisses Pooh

  7. Sue Brandes

I always check our litter boxes too. Don’t like them dirty. I am thankful the 6 nice days we just had. Have a great day.

  8. Elliot and Cricket

Wow, is there really 9 of you now?
You all must be a full time job! Good thing you have a great mum and dad.

I wish TW would invoke the No Pass rule. I’m still waiting on her cleaning last night’s pee. And I’m certainly not thankful for my new $1.99 litter box. I guess I’m thankful to the house to live in part. BTW, when TW does get around to scooping, she uses a tiny newspaper bag which gets thrown right down the garbage shoot in the refuse room.

  11. Madi

No pass zone OMCs we have it here too in fact sometimes mom is coming up the stairs right in the middle of
‘things’ and she’ll wait fly right in and scoop then!
    Hugs madi your bfff

  12. The Poupounette Gang

Our #1 tries to follow the same rule whenever she walks past one of our litter boxes. But we are not familiar wth Litter Genie. Probably not available here anyway. sigh…

    The Chans

  13. Sammy

We have that rule too even though we only have Teddy here! Rule is if someone goes to the basement for any reason, they check the box and “deal with it” while they’re down there!

    Hugs, Pam

  14. The Swiss Cats

That’s a great rule ! We only have two litterboxes, but Claire and Momo follow the same rule here. We never heard of Litter Genie, we wonder if it’s available here. Purrs

  15. Katie Isabella

I like that rule. Mom always said that folks who complain about litterbox odor simply doubt clean it out often enough and washing it is a thing you have to do as a mom or dad. So scoop; and wash too when you can.

  16. Emma

Before my time, Mom had four cats and she thought that was a lot! Nine would really be a lot! Nice they keep things scooped!

  17. The OP Pack

There is not much better than a clean litter box, and your peeps are super at doing that for all of you. We don’t have litter boxes, but we can say that our Mom is diligent about keeping our yard clean. She just wishes we would pick one spot to take care of business:)

Yups wonderful caring peeps are something to really be thankful for. Tabby cat and I are blessed with wonderful pawrents as well. We both have good food that’s good for us, peeps to love, play with us and take care of our every need. We think our love and devotion to them is a fair trade. 😀

I’m thankful that so many people are wonderful and responsible kitty parents. My blog post today is sadly relevant – but I know little Gidget’s luck will improve!

We luvs da no pass rule. We kinda have dat. Ours is, ifin mommy goes pawdee, we go pawdee and she has to clean it right then. And, ifin we go pawdee even ifin mommy doesn’t, she has to clean it then. Basically, our pawdee box is s’posed to always be clean. MOL We really wanted one of those litter genie things, but chewy ran out of them da month they offured ’em to us to review, so we never got one. Glad to know they work. Maybe some day, mommy will get one. Big hugs fur all and enjoy those boxes.

    Luv ya’
