Purrsonally I think one of the boys should have done the post for April Fools Day, that would have been way more appropriate and either boy could have handled it MOL! Well, actually Brian is very nice and not a fool at all. Simon? Hmmmmmm, the jury is still out on that one.
As the elder of the family I don’t mind telling you that I give Simon a pretty good hiss when he comes charging my way. I think he is learning to respect his elders and the run ups are lessening quite a bit. There’s a lesson here for Brother Simon. I just mind my own business so he doesn’t have to mind it for me.
Don’t get me wrong though, I don’t dislike him, I just don’t like him in my face. He doesn’t know that someone stole my claws way before I came to leave here, so if you see him, please don’t tell him. I might need to use the paw of doom as a bluff some day, you never know.
Have a fun Saturday everyone, and speaking of the wild one, he will be here tomorrow. Seriously, he doesn’t know what Easy is all about yet. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
I think Simon just needs to grow up a little!
Oh Kit, I sure hope that Simon doesn’t chase you too much. Sounds like you have him under control though. That Simon sure has a lot of energy. You all have a great Saturday.
Happy April Fool’s Day to you, too!
Sister Kit I think Simon is just a big old kitten and learning his place in your family – I bet he knows you are IN CHARGE as the Elder…….if he’s not “rushing” you as often then he’s learning………slowly but surely!
Hugs, Angel Sam and Teddy
Guess Simon hasn’t learned that us older folks like peace and quiet?
Educating little brothers is a very important job, Kit!
Purrs,
The Chans
It’s not easy being the elder sister sometimes, is it, Sister Kit? You are doing a good job of teaching Simon how to behave – keep up the good work!
A good bluff can sure do the right stuff!
Beautiful photo of you. Have a great day.
It seems that Brother Simon is still a bit kittenish…he will probably grow out of that.
Sister Kit you know how those young boys are!!!
Sweet Sister Kit you are doing a mighty fine job helping Brother Simon learn his limits. We will not tell him about your claws being stolen sweetie. Hugs and nose kisses
Kit, little brothers are such a pain sometimes!
That’s not fair that you don’t have claws. Hopefully he will respect you enough that you don’t have to use the paw.
I’m sure he’ll calm down a bit,he just needs to grow up a bit,xx Speedy
You are a sweetie.
Amarula can totally sympathize with teaching little brothers how to respect their elders!!
Simon obviously still has a bit of that kitten crazy, Sister Kit. But it sounds like he’s learning, with your excellent teaching. 🙂
You are wise, Kit. And adorable. xo
We are sure that Brother Simon is going to figure it all out – but Mom says boys take a lot longer:)
Woos – Lightning and Misty
Oh poor Sister Kit!! That Simon is giving ALL of you quite the way to go!!! MOL!!! xoxo
Simon is just so happy to have a home he forgets ‘purrsonal’ space is impawtant
Hugs madi your bfff
Hey, Kit, I know exactly what you mean. Even if we don’t have claws, not all know that. I use the “power of the claws” on Marcus, though. He’s the one around here that thinks charging is fun and he’s a whole lot bigger than Simon.
Rusty
Have a restful Caturday Kit and we won’t tell Simon you don’t haz any claws… Hope he will figure the world out purrtee soon and calm down a bits. Speaking of the worlds, did you hear that our furry own Joey batted the world around and gotted into trubble when he made dent in China?
Well you kin reads about it in our post today.
Purrz from Angel who doesn’t like being bothered by energetic boys neither.
Simon is just letting off steam. He will calm down one day, but in the meantime I am sure you can keep him under control, Sister Kit.
Simon is still little. He’ll calm down and be “less-in-your-face” once he’s older. purrs
Great education job, Sister Kit ! Happy April Fool’s Day ! Purrs
Mee-you Sisfur Kit yur lookin purrty on thee blanket. LadyMum thott you had sum cheese doodless with you…(time fur an eye test mee finkss!!)

***nose rubsss*** Siddhartha Henry =^,.^=
Sister Kit, you can still bite hard even without those stolen claws. It’s all about the air of confidence you show that will establish control with little brothers. Stay on top of it and he will respect you.
Izzy
I know how you feel, Kit! I don’t like sharpie around me and when I hiss and run he chases. i’m not really a whapper either and I do have clawrs. Brian is a pawsome role model so hopefully Simon takes notes 🙂

We’re sure Simon will eventually learn his place in the family.
You look lovely Kit!
Sounds to us like you are handling Simon with a very firm paw! ?
Your secret weapons are safe with us!
I’m sure Simon will learn his place eventually.
xxoo
Maggie, Mickey Mouser and Rufus the Red
Sister kit you are so pretty! We pawmise we will not tell Simon you has no claws.
xoxo,
Matilda (& Matt)
Looking good there, sister Kit! I think you made yourself very clear and our lips are sealed about the paws…purromised! Pawkisses 🙂 <3
Kit, I am so sorry that someone amputated your toe bones! We all are working hard to get that procedure made illegal, did you know that? Obviously, your humans love you just the way you are, and you keep on training that crazy kitten Simon!
We bet it makes a kitty feel insecure to know they don’t have anything to defend themselves with… Why that sentence even reads kind of scary doesn’t it? We’re so sorry someone cut off your part of your toes and your claws. As far as Simon goes we’ll bet if you give him enough time he’ll learn. It takes some kitty’s a while to figure things out.
Glad to hear that he’s learning to respect his elders! That’s the way it should be.
