Mini-Mancat Monday: 3 Things I Learned Last Week

Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!Hello everyone, I’ll bet you’re surprised to see me here instead of Brother Brian on Mancat Monday.  What’s with that Mini-Mancat thing anyways?  I’m almost as big as Brother Brian now but the Dad says I’m still a growing boy.

So where is Brother Brian?  He asked me to trade days with him this week because tomorrow he has something special he wants to post about.  Beat’s me.  He said it had something to do with a smiling rock.  Since I didn’t have a clue of course I said yes.  So, I guess we’ll all find out tomorrow what it is all about.

So, this past week was kind of busy for me, I keep finding more things that need investigating.  The sisters said I’m a snoop, but hey, what is normal for them is new for me.  I did learn some things though.

  1. Brother Brian was right about the cat tree.  Even though it doesn’t have leaves, birds or squirrels, I’ve been having a blast on that thing.
  2. There were some big-time storms last week and living inside is a wonderful place to be.  Sister Seal and I didn’t have to run for shelter from all that wind and rain.
  3. Sister Precious still doesn’t like me.  I’m not giving up though, I still keep going up to her gate and she still does the slam dance on the other side.

Have a fun week everyone, gotta run…

Those were 3 good things to learn Simon.
As indoor cats, we can appreciate that being indoors is way better than being outside during storms!

that’s very brave … never give up… and maybe that smiling rock is like a sign? for constant dripping wears the stone and precious will like you once?

Simon, you are so cute! I don’t think Precious will ever learn to appreciate your charms, but who am I to tell you to stop trying?

Simon those beautiful green eyes will win Sister Precious EVENTUALLY. In the meantime, sounds like you are loving the cat tree and just plain HAVING FUN.

Good for you Simon to keep trying with Precious. Maybe, you will be the one she will like. Glad you gave Brian the day off. Can’t wait to see what he is talking about tomorrow. You all have a great Monday.

Being indoors sure is great, especially when we see those storms. Maybe you’ll get through to Precious one of this times. But at least you’re giving her exercise.

  7. Bell Fur Zoo

Glad you are liking your cat tree and isn’t living inside da bestest during storms. Only bad thing is when a lizard or bird is at da window and it’s just outa reach 😉

Hoping Sister Precious warms up to you soon.

    xoxo,

Simon, I could swim in your green eye pools! You are a most handsome mancat, and I’m betting that if you lay quietly near Precious and bat those gorgeous big eyes of yours, she’ll start thawing out!

  11. Katie Isabella

Brother Simon, you are absolutely stunningly handsome with eyes that would draw any kitty straight to you…except Sister Precious. I’ll love to see a video of that dance she does when you go upstairs if you are ever carrying your dad’s iPhone.

  12. Pooh and her Pooch

Aaaaaaaaaw Simon, I’s always enjoy seein’ you. I’s not unnerstand these older siblings of ours either. We’re just as big as they are, so there’s nuffin’ mini ’bout us. Those cat trees are a marvel of nature aren’t they? And it is good to be purrmanently sheltered, ‘specially when those nasty storms come callin’. We hope ya’ll stay safe, we’re havin’ ’em here too. And I’s say keep tryin’, dat gawjus Precious will give in and some point. MOL Big hugs fur all.

You are a busy boy, Simon! It was nice of you to help your brother Brian out, and give us an update on what you’ve been up to!

  16. Cathy Keisha

You bet it’s more fun to be inside when the rains come. Of course some cats still hide UTB rather than under cars. Have you ever thought of jumping the gate to visit Precious? I’ll bet you’d jump even higher on your way out. You might not even touch the stairs.

  17. Kitties Blue

That’s the best thing about being a kitten..lots to do and explore and discover. Simon, those green eyes of yours are absolutely amazing. XOCK Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy.
