T.G.I.F. Typos Get

30 Comments on T.G.I.F. Typos Get

Another week has just flown by and I’m sure glad you got here right on time Friday. I know Friday, you always show up on time, at least so far, so don’t be messing up anytime soon, okay?

Speaking of messing up, do you or your typist ever make mistakes? It just happens doesn’t it?  We’re typing along and then we go back a proofread and all looks ready to go. Then you publish your post and someone kindly points out a boo-boo, the dreaded typo. Sometimes we just read what we want to read and even spell check doesn’t help if it’s a real word. I won’t even go into what happens with that ever-so-challenging auto-correct on my iPhone and iPad!

Anyways, I wanted to share with you a kind act of supervision by Sister Sascha. Last week she was supervising the Dad helping her with her Sister Saturday post. Then it happened, the Dad made a typo. Hey, it happens even to the Dad. But that’s my T.G.I.F. for today…Typos Get Immediate Fussing.

Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!
As you can see, Sister Sascha is quick to point out the error. She is a bit of a purrfectionist and wants to make sure her thoughts and words come through just right. Oh yea, the Dad fixed it right away and all was good once again.

Thanks for stopping by and come on back tomorrow to celebrate Earth Day with Sister Gracie. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Sometimes Cats Herd You

Wow, Sister Sascha is a tough editor. You would think after all these blog posts she would at least grade on a curve or something.

Molly and my Mom @ The Fast and the Furriest

BOL I have a bed by Mom’s desk just so I can supervise my blogs she types as I dictate. I have Mom write, proof read, Edit, reproof and finally post. Now you’d think with all this reading and re-reading she’d get it right. OOOOh heavens No!! I’ll read my blog after she’s posted and can you believe it there’s still typos. Why at times so many changes have been made to my online version that by the time she sends out my email versions for our email subscribers it’s a totally different blog. Sheesh!!! What’s a pup to do?… Read more »

It’s good to have an editor over your shoulder (or by you on the couch!)……still “stuff happens” and we just HATE it when we find an error AFTER we’ve posted! Darn!

Typos?! Moi?! The very idea! 🙂 Actually, not all the mistakes are ours. This wireless keyboard we use often fails to send signals to the computer. Ron probably won’t like the idea, but I am very tempted to go buy a larger keyboard that plugs into the computer.

I could use Sascha around here! I get tired of proofreading sometimes and I skim the type instead of actually reading it … and I don’t realize I’m doing it either!

Sister Sascha means business.
Auto correct is a boooooooger
We still crack up at what my Human sis had on her iPad grocery list….
it read: ” one little Ethiopian”. Sis was in the middle of Wally world LOLing and ROLLLING ON THE FLOOR
She had no clue what it was supposed to be. When she got home she expected to see she was missing a key ingredient for a meal. Never figured out what it was supposed to be.
AND AS for TYPOS mom often types Maid…instead of Madi……….who ever heard of a Diva Maid
Hugs madi your bfff

What a cute photo of Sascha and your human!

I do think that Simon would benefit from learning some tricks – it might help him to focus and be a little less kitten-naughty.

Typos. TELL me about it. MOUSES!

The peep says that if you make a mistake and it gets in your head, only a break, away from the computer, will get the mistake out of your head so you can find it. Personally, I think she just uses that as an excuse to go to the kitchen and drink tea. You know peeps. MOUSES!

Our Mom has made her share of typos goofs, and sometimes they can be so embarrassing. She tries not to use the iPad for blog work as she really messes up there. You can just imagine what her texts look like – BOL!!!

Have a great weekend.

Wow, your sister really told your dad off, didn’t she? I bet she saw the mistake coming even before your dad typed it.

Sasha, your dad is lucky to have you! We are always mortified by our mom’s typos, both on our blog (which we can fix) and especially in comments (which we can’t fix and are in space FOREVER)!!

HAH! I think you missed one, Sascha! 2nd line of 2nd graph. I hate when TW makes typos and she makes many. Then Pop proofreads and doesn’t catch anything. I wish I had thumbs so I could type my own posts. I usually don’t point out others’ typos except if they’re awful ones and then I do it by email not to embarrass anyone. I’m always glad when we really make a booboo and someone emails us.
